Tie between night elves and worgen.
Night elves because of their rich lore & “classic WoW race” roots, and worgen because I’ve been a fan of werewolves since I was a kid.
In fact, worgens were the race that drew me to WoW, but they were locked behind a sub and Cataclysm at the time, so I chose to be a night elf druid instead.

My personal favorite is Dark iron Dwarves. It’s just unfortunate that not much gear looks good on them for transmog. I had one regular set I ran and a couple off-sets, but not too much variety when you’re fire colored.
Gnome. Always and forever… since the days of playing these games on paper with many, many dice.
Always wanted to be a goblin pirate after seeing ratchet/booty bay. Goblins are some quirky little guys and gals
Tauren are a close second. I love their lore and part of me wished blizzard would expand a bit on them but the other part of me doesn’t trust them to tell that story
Can’t decide between Night Elves and Draenei.
Honorable mention: can’t decide between Humans and Dwarves.
Fave unplayable: here I can decide - Naga.
yea gnomes are highly underrated when it come to strength.
Dragons and Titans followed by the Loa / Wild Gods 
As for the more simple races - I do have a fondness (And throughout history a love-hate relationship) towards murlocs though. lol
Why aren’t more people saying Goblin?
It is objectively the greatest race in WoW in terms of looks, lore and ability.

its the beast races in any game
humans and human like races are boring imo. they exist irl and thus “why play a game to be something you already are”
for example, its boring being a dragon that stands around pretending to be a human all day. 
Yes goblins are cool lol. I will always remember the shimmering flats and the mirage raceway. And the race between the goblins as to who were the superior races when it came to their tech for the racecars. It was downright hilarious.
Now it is about who actually owns the speedbarge in flooded thousand needles. Is it fizzle and pozzic? Or is it razzeric and the goblin co. Who knows.
I also think goblins are pretty evil as well lol. Anything they can do to get a quick buck, they will do.
I recently found out that tradeprince gallywix is no longer apart of the bilgewater cartel or the horde, but i am wondering why. Does he have an evil plot for a tech themed expansion in the future? Idk.

Easily the best race on the Alliance that gets watered down by the human potential. Glad that they at least gave us our time to shine in Legion but other races kind of hurt due to it. It was a major disappointment that they made Argus a single patch and 3 zones ta boot.
Not really happy with the existence of LFD either since they effectively stole HD horns and the women even have minor head plating I’ve been wanting for years…but it is what it is!
I think Velen is one of the more interesting faction Leaders as well who has a lot of nuance and mystery to em.
Dwarfs are my favorite, nothing better then snowy mountains of Dun Morogh to call home and epic city of Iron forge.

For me too but I cant play Alliance on this server this toon used to be Ally but I switched it over to Horde because Alliance is dead.
My favorite race are Orcs. I really enjoy their back story and what they have been through as a race and still persevered.
Limitting myself to playable ones.
As a people, on what seems to be (mostly/generally) their values, wisdom, and ways, both Tauren and Draenei.
As a friendly race I’d go Gnomes. Don’t know, I feel they’re just nice to have around.
I also enjoy Goblins, even though I can’t say I particularily find them …uhm…praiseworthy…but they’re kinda cool…for…whatever reason.
