What is your excuse for not having KSM (M+)?

Legion did M+ perfectly.

It was just an Achv. And you only had to run ONE DUNGEON.

Just ONE.

If you enjoy M+, then by definition it is its own reward. People will push 10, 15, 25, 35+ … for no other reason than it is content they enjoy.

THAT is how it should be.

Friends quit earlier last year sadly took a break then I have 3 kids and a 14 hour workday my time is very limited lol plus it’s just not my cup of tea

Not true at all.

If you want into a mythic guild yiur best bet is to find a heroic raiding guild and get some clears and gear in. Get your logs decent and then app to a mythic guild. Most mythic guilds are looking for people

No they don’t.

I have the clears for heroic guilds…just can’t seem to find one. Any suggestions for a realm and or guild that welcomes returning players?

I don’t enjoy timers and pull order culture of mythic plus in PuG context. If I had a party of friends I would definitely partake, but otherwise I don’t have skin thick enough. It seems to require too much emotional effort.

i only do M+ at the start of a tier cause max ilvl M+ vault gear supplements the ilvl push when a new raid comes out.

It is very hard to get KSM if you never set foot in Mythic dungeons.

That isn’t an excuse, by the way. It’s a statement of fact.

Since I don’t do Mythic dungeons, no KSM for me!

i do have it. on a couple characters, in fact! what does the thread title have to do with Qwik?

I’m not really a fan of M+.

It requires too much effort to just get into a run or put one together, and I never really found it fun to sit around and form groups manually. This is why I didn’t run a ton of dungeons back in Vanilla and TBC either, unless I could get all of my friends together.

It’s not content designed for people like me. So I doubt I’ll ever have KSM. Don’t even really want it. If I can’t do it in a 20-30m play session or through matchmaking, I’m not its demographic.

I usually play this game solo and do group content in FFXIV.

Yeahhhhh they do. All it takes is admission to what it takes to run at that level to realize that while neither one of us may be 100% correct, it’s closer to my side of the scale (much, MUCH closer to my side).

I could outline all the things that go into running 25+s and being successful at them, but these things are self-evident. The fact you’re already ignoring them tells me I’d just be wasting my time.

There are interviews of MDI players detailing the time commitments they make to running at that 20+ level that back up my assertion. I have a feeling all of your counters will revolve around little more than your first one: “nuh uhhhhhh!”

Compelling argument, for sure.

I don’t want to do it?

I don’t like M+.

there’s a world of difference between “MDI player” and “running some +20s”

that’s like citing an interview with a RWF mythic raider as proof that everyone who kills a few mythic bosses raids 60 hours a week and has 5 raid-ready alts at all times

I’m not sure I understand this thread. Is it a question for people or a “let’s trash the president of Blizz” thread?

This.

My other reason is 3 years old and running around in a princess dress right now. I barely have time to sleep, let alone push for KSM.

Agreed.

But the subject at hand is Mike’s stats. Which, imo, reflect an MDI-level of commitment. Mike’s stats aren’t those of “someone running 20s.”

You disagree with this assumption?

i think it’s highly unlikely Qwik plays 10 hours a day. 10 hours a week? sure. but that’s hardly sweaty territory.

Maybe not YESTERDAY.

But his average time-played to attain those stats is EASILY close to it. Or, like I said earlier, it’s going to be A LOT closer to 10 a day than it is to 1 a day.

That would be just to clear Mythic Sylvanas. Unless you’re now going to contend that he cleared M-SoD with (sic) 11 pulls per boss? (where most guilds are in the 100+ per)

So on top of his M-SoD time commitment, he has a M+ commitment. Not just running it, but farming mats etc. Even if he doesn’t farm mats, he’s selling carries … either one TAKES TIME.

Doesn’t matter where he does it, time is time and, as I said, you don’t accumulate the stats he has without a TREMENDOUS commitment of time. If it’s not 10 a day, it’s 6-8, easy.

I wish I did this and did not buy SL. Being 120 is great!
