What is Yarrow's beef with "Horde mercs"?

Well that is pretty amazing, considering I can count on one hand the number of times I have seen her even admit there were any problems in the game at all.

Yea it is true. I’m not that negative of a person thankfully. If I had too many gripes about the game that I was unhappy, I just wouldn’t play it. I have a lot of gripes with the 40 mans, so I just don’t queue for them.

Well not everyone who has gripes is a negative person. Many, many people bring up these issues because they love this game, and they believe that many of the issues plaguing it need to be addressed to keep it a game that can be loved.

But that’s my point. A lot of these issues aren’t really issues. Gear doesn’t affect randoms the way some act. Premades are matched against premades already. Majority of mercs aren’t the sole reason you lost. And healers are balanced, yet thrown out like it’s 0-3 almost every match

That’s a fair point but it can also be said (and around here has to be said repeatedly) that not every complaint is a legitimate problem with the game. Ofc there are problems with the game, there always will be but people too often are not pointing out those problems. They are pointing out problems they are encountering but are not willing/can’t figure out how to overcome.

I’ve always thought of her as someone who can easily say “Oh, good point”, which is a stark contrast to many other people who double down on their views no matter what.

Yeah actually now that I think about it, my first impression of you was I thought you were an antagonist. I have no idea why I thought that, but it didn’t last too long. I think we just staunchly disagreed on a specific hotpoint topic that was trending at the time. Something about Ashran. Maybe premades? It was around the time Avengers/Hydra was a thing and dominated all the discussions.

Well and there was a lot of tension on the forums at the time (more than I feel like there is today) since every thread was about premades in one way or another. I’m sure that contributed to the “you’re either with me or against me!”

And Forums was in full policeman mode, mentioning “premades” and “fair play” more than Yarrow does with “mercs” and their “wrong battle plans”.

Again, I will state that just because you don’t ever see heal imbalance, and you always see premade against premade, it does not mean that other people who are not having that same experience are wrong.

Many people disagree with your assessment of healer and premade balance, but you like to act like don’t personally ever see it, and they are just making excuses.

I do have a SS of every game I play. Like I said it takes not even a second in the two minute window before the match starts

Not all of us are obsessed and SS everything. A guy who walks around with a Go-Pro attached to his shoulder only looks like a fool when he echos “prove it” to everyone he meets.

I run Killshot (takes screenshots on KB’s) so I guess I have screenshots of every game too.

I used to think there was a lot of healer imbalance, but I don’t think that way anymore.

I do feel the game tries to get an even number today.

I think in those imbalanced situations 3 healers got the queue to match the 3 enemy healers, but one of them didn’t take the queue or was afk. Then backfill mechanics came into place and that doesn’t consider comp.
