Like I said earlier, the core concept of Qucumbers is that there’s a shadowy cabal (deep state) that’s so competent, that they can run an entire government without anyone ever knowing they exist.
But not so competent that they could just y’know, rig the election and put their dude in charge.

I have a personal stake in believing in the values of this country, yes, and everything Qanon followers believe and want to do to their imagined enemies goes against that.

I will say I dislike it when people don’t say what they mean, straight up.
No innuendo, no double meanings, no bs. Just straight up or conversation is pointless.
I don’t talk in code and I don’t tolerate people who do. That doesn’t mean I’m not aware of what is going on though.
I’m not alone, either. There’s lots of people who do the same thing.

With all this, one thing is clear… the internet has become ridiculously efficient at pumping out junk food tailored specifically for the tastes of those who are easily taken in.
Also, “just kidding” is until it isn’t. So much of this nonsense got its legs when internet communities originally made to lampoon the things in question got inundated with weirdos who took all the sarcasm seriously and thought they were in good company.
