And dropping your gold spit right on top of the first boss in kings rest? Like you guys do it, every single time, without fail, even after me personally whispering you and asking you not to do that.
If those gold droplet things touch the boss, he gets a health shield, so DON’T for the love of all that is holy DO NOT drop it on the boss.
hits you on the nose with a newspaper BAD DPS! BAD! BAD DOG!

Or people flatout ignoring the boss that removes the pools of blood in Atal to prevent the transfusion heals

Stop popping your cooldowns on the first boss of the motherlode the moment we engage, wait for the soccer balls to hit him so he takes 150% more damage.

There are quite a lot of bosses that can make things go awry if mechanics are not properly handled. It’s making me wonder if people actually pay attention if they gear up with random Heroics or in reg Mythics. Those kind of mistakes should not be happening in M+, personally.

Bads are everywhere. You need to watch out I think it’s contagious.

People don’t. I’m sure it’s burnout from there being too many mechanics for the bosses, people just can’t be arsed to memorize them all every time.

I guess that’s possible. Maybe the bosses are too heavy mechanically when you factor in trash mechanics on top. I’d also argue that some players just don’t want or refuse to learn, which severely hurts.
I definitely don’t think there are too many in dungeons. Most bosses can be described in like 3 bullet points.

I read you loud and clear.

…I’ve literally never done that dungeon.
I didnt do it when it was mythic only and I have no need for dungeons anymore.
So I have no clue what you are talking about.
Which is completely fine. But if you were going to go and do it you wouldn’t start on a m+ (above something really low) or do it without asking I assume.
I agree that bosses can easily be explained, but maybe some people just… don’t care. Some players don’t put in the effort, and that’s the sad truth. When I mained my DK earlier this expac I made sure to brush up on mechanics and perform as best I could, then I swapped to maining this Bear Druid, and now I am gearing up my Brewmaster Monk on Horde side as my new main.
Agreed. And we need to make sure the game isn’t designed around them. Imo the bar needs to be higher for people to aim for instead of the game being so easy.
Edit. To clarify I’m not saying they shouldn’t have things to do in game because they should. But the game should not be pitched at their level. They can have the trimmed down “Normal” version.

You’ll still have people screw up the mechanics like the gold spit or the transfusion one in 15-20 keys… It’s really sad. People are way too caught up in the whole “BUT MY PARSES” nonsense that they ignore mechanics.
I’ve gotten my share of high raid parses, but do you know what I think about most people that parse in the 95-99 range? I think either the stars aligned and the boss didn’t target them with mechanics or they ignored mechanics. Guess what it is most of the time: The latter.

That’s absolutely true and I had not thought of it. I’ve known some like that that would just try to parse high just for the memes.

It’s stuff like this why I’m glad raiderio exists.

But if they run to those how will they lead DPS? More damage is the answer to every mechanic!

Hey you guys! I found one of those bads I was talking about earlier. No don’t come and look it might bite you stay back. (Lol only joking btw)
As an Alliance player, hear me when I say that inviting pug Human Male Ret Paladins to your mythic+ is like literally throwing away your key.
No exaggeration, I would say about 70% chance they ‘forgot’ (aka don’t know) boss mechanics.
Sure, three bullet points is simple enough. But compare to what most of us learned on, maybe a single bullet point. Compare the mechanics of like, VanCleef to Skycap’n Kragg in Freehold.
