What is torghast like for your class/spec

My monk/dh were doing layer 8 onwards from 190 ilvl pulling whole rooms. Best dps that I can remember was brewmaster monk with Max corrosive doing like 60-100k dps.

I had my MW doing 200K dps on an end boss one time with Corrosive Dosage!!! That was with party that also had a mage with a boost to Time Warp… I swear we downed the boss in under 20s!

Brewmaster monks are probably the easiest I’ve tried so far. And probably the only toon I’ve had that it’s much easier to do solo than it is in a group. All because of mob health scaling in groups.

• first you need the touch of death legendary. You can do it without (with luck) but it’s much much more reliable with it.
• your goal is to make touch of death with no cooldown.
• take any corrosive dosage you get (not req to the build but will help for bosses)
• if necrolord, look for the bone broth
• and here’s probably the most important part, assuming none of the above powers are offered, get as much stamina as you can

Proceed to one shot everything with touch of death.

I actually found MW easier than BrM most of the time… but it all depends on the powers you get.

As a Blood DK, it’s easy enough though a bit slow.

On my Fire Mage, once you get Fire Blast Knockback, it’s stupidly easy to kill anything including all the bosses and the icing on the cake is extra mirror images

Rogue gets a power that turns distraction into a sticky grenade that sticks to everything in a pretty big radius, it’s all kinds of fun, you can toss it from stealth and using it doesnt break stealth.

Hits hard enough to one shot alot of stuff in there and it chunks bosses health pretty good too.

Reminds me of playing Halo back in the day with the sticky grenades, good times.

It is a very fun power but totally unusable in a group due to the requirement that mobs not be in combat

So unless you’re on comms and distracting before the tank pulls or you pull for the tank then it’s too hard to use unless solo

Idk about regular Torghast, but Twisting Corridors as Prot Paladin is legitimately hilarious. You become a god damned juggernaut fairly quickly. Just an invincible beast that can also pump out 30k HPS or whatever on allies if needed (ie: the ‘Rats!’ debuff goes off on multiple people on a high floor and you’re just chunking them from 20% to 100% every tick).

I’ve always liked Torghast, but I really enjoy it the most on my havoc DH.

Zip through the layers super quick, plus lots of really strong powers if you get lucky with choices. Bosses melt.

I’ve done it on a lot of classes and specs. Tank and heal specs have it easier, the mobs have less HP and don’t hit as hard. Some DPS specs are better than others. Unholy DK in the first part of the expansion, with the right powers, was really fun. I finished Twisting Corridors on this character in February, with an item level under 200, and even did several floors with an off spec legendary. Demonology is the best choice for Warlock by far as long as you know what powers to get. Mage, the most fun I’ve had solo has been with Fire, but only with certain powers. Frost has also been fun. Havoc was also pretty fun depending on the powers. I’ve also done Elemental and Enhancement, but not at max level. They seem super fun, almost busted at times, but I’ve yet to do it as heals and supposedly that’s where the real fun’s at. I did some Balance Druid as well, but only for leveling and have not been back since hitting 60. It wasn’t super OP or anything. I found it to be kinda boring even. Demo Warlock with the right powers and the right covenant is next level, though. But you can’t fully live up to your potential outside of Twisting Corridors.

enhance is fun with right powers. rsham does more dps than both specs. my prot pally is so easy. monk is easy ww never tryed nothing else. my mm hunter i hate in there. i could switch i just dont.

I don’t like torghast but I have to admit that the windwalker monk felt great in there.

Not sure what the item level “recommendation” is suppose to mean. How about if we clear the “recommended” item level/layer we get that as a piece of gear. Thanks in advance blizzard.

try out prot pally then go back to bear and tell me its still fun.

I really don’t like soloing on my Arcane Mage, if I get the right powers its easy and i’m a god, however if I don’t its a long boring grind.
However on my Fury Warrior, even with bad powers i’m a god even on high levels lol

Yeah, and if you can combine that with the power that give your Mirror Images improved Pyroblast… you’re well nigh invincible. For Fire spec also

Torghast has more to do with ilvl and powers than spec.

Seriously, Rogues in Torghast have been very disappointing to me.
