me and some friends watched 8 crazy nights a few days before christmas, the animation was excellent but the actual writing of the movie was awful. i feel bad for people of the jewish faith that while i’m sure there are plenty of other hannukah movies out there, 8 crazy nights is probably what people think of the most when they think of “hannukah movies”
