Read the thread…
Blizzard literally made a post here about it
I edited my answer to reflect it. I didn’t see it before. My bad.
I did not see it. Been busy and just have a few minutes to bs around.
Thats fair and all
But its also the 3rd time it was even posted in this thread, and there were only 18 posts at that point ![]()
The GM got fired and Blizzard made a blue post telling the whole world that the GM got fired.
With the amount of visibility this was getting these are crazy comms.
Well…not the first time I’ve spoken out of my
. I guess I have to maintain an idiocy level for myself.
Did read the response Blizzard gave. Kudos to them for bringing out the golden hammer. Also to note, it was a tank that saved the day.
Internal Blizz employee fired, group members banned, public announcement by Blizz posted.
Yeah sorry dude. I don’t spend all day on the forums lol. The main post is way too long now for me to browse through the answers. Should I have waited to make sure there wasn’t an answer? Sure… but I did correct myself. ![]()
Where did you see the players were banned? I can’t find that info.
i don’t have time to read things, it cuts into my scheduled hours of ‘being outraged about video games’
Go to the GD page and at the very top of the pinned topics is their statement on it and the actions taken.
I missed it because I usually assume it’s the same topics and not a new one.
Oh I saw that post. I saw they fired the QA guy but they didn’t say they banned the players.
Punishments for players are usually kept quiet. The very least we can expect is that they lose the rewards and progress for the incident. Other punsihments that happen we may never know about.
Someone said on the pinned post that they’re online now and playing. So yeah… I’m not going to hold my breath on any real consequences but I believe a permanent ban is warranted in this case…. except for the pug lol. That guy is a real MVP.
Well I’m surprised they made a statement but I guess it was good optics.
Sounds like there was no way to get away with this without being caught (auditing) so just a foolish decision that cost someone their job.
