Doubt we will hear anything further. They’ll sweep it under the rug and deal with it internally.

There is no reason for us to know anything.

But we’ll find out. The raid team might tell us. If the guy gets fired, he might tell us. The internet detectives will see if he is still posted as a blizz employee.

There is all the reason.

We play this game thinking we have a chance to obtain titles and things. Whats the damn point if some loser can just get a GM to poof it?

Probably never hear anything about it. And people will find the next thing to rage about next Tuesday and forget it happened. Or make it that much harder for them to engage with the public.

There’s a big reason, namely any expectation that we should have any trust in the higher end content community, and Blizzard employees aren’t tampering with it.

This one group singlehandedly sewn a massive wave of distrust in both.

I think folks forget that investigations take time. Let them do their audit, and give some sort of statement. I expect them to be vague with the finer details, but I do expect a clear answer as to what happened.

It’s hit the news. PC Gamer and similar gaming/tech media has written articles on it. Just search Blizzard Dev Scandal. Will be hard to keep silent and I expect the PR team is in overdrive right now.
