of deliberately releasing the trading post the day after a weekly reset? historically, any time there’s been major patches implemented, it’s on Tuesday. They intentionally screw over their customers with these deliberate decisions that result in extended maintenance periods. If you go back to last Tuesday, this is now well over 12 hours of game time that has been taken from people’s paid subscriptions without any compensation.

They are releasing on 1 Feb due to monthly cycle for trading post.

Even with that as the case, they could’ve made the first month 1 day longer to prevent this issue of ridiculous downtime 2 weeks in a row. Nobody asked for this feature anyway.

Exactly. They could have implemented the system on Patch Day Tuesday. Then from there, it’s just a toggle on switch for Wednesday’s Trading Post appearance.
Kind of like how the maintenance before an expansion pack release prevents the release day from being down for maintenance.

They did implement it on patch day. Then they flipped the switch for EU and there were big problems, hence the maintenance today.

Makes sense, because I don’t recall seeing a notice for maintenance today.
It’s almost as if the people that complain never actually pay attention and make stuff up to complain about.
