2nd season mount looked good and that’s why I went for 2k. 1st season and this season mount look like dog water. I would of been doing mythics but SoD is mighty fun.

18 for myth track items in the vault, which can reach the highest ilvl you can achieve, bar doing mythic raid last 2 bosses.
Got KSM on 2nd week without even trying. Got KSH this week almost exclusively pugging. The mount is ugly, but ugly or not I would have ended up getting it anyway.
Sense of accomplishment. Desire to push as far one can. Bragging rights. There are several reasons. Just because you hit your personal wall doesn’t every one else has.
2k m+ score = mount
2500 score = transmog
+16 aspect crest
+17 hero track gear from end of Dungeon
+18 myth track gear in great vault
+20 unlocks teleports to dungeon
Heroic raid has aotc achievement which gives you a dragonriding skin that looks similar to fyrakk
Some decent incentives. Over 20 is mostly just for pushing yourself.
its pretty simple but the real challenge is dealing with pugs

Not saying it never happens, but I didn’t have any toxicity or leavers in my road to KSH, almost exclusively pugging.
not toxicity per se but definitely lots of people punching above their weight.
soandso-azralon joins. he’s a havoc dh so you think “hey maybe he’s alright” and he has a decent score.
key ends and him at being at the bottom of the meters, 15 deaths and the only communication they engage in is “do u??? ned//?” when something drops
And the item he is asking for is plate.

18s get you: Aspect crests, Myth-path gear from the Vault, and Hero gear from the end-of-dungeon box.
20s get you: All the same as 18s (but the Vault Myth-path gear will be at a higher level, potentially saving Aspect crests), and portals to the dungeon that are permanent character-based unlocks.
Pretty much everyone who’s 480+ now has been running M+ or is lucky with gear in Mythic Raid.
Going higher is just for boosting the M+ score number higher.

Main difference I noticed between the 7s/8s and 11s, is that you instantly die to some of those attacks where the circle grows around the enemy and you have to run out of it. Lol I learned the hard way a few times. They pop so fast you have to really GTFO immediately.
Yep. The biggest learning curve of M+ is knowing which mobs do which moves which need to be CCed or interrupted, which ones you can avoid, and which ones you just need to push a cooldown for.
Faster you can learn and look out for those, the easier it gets going higher.

The biggest for me right now is learning my whole rotation and keybinds without needing to look, that way I can just pay attention to everything on the screen lol.
It gets pretty chaotic with 10-12 enemies all over the place. I can’t be looking down at all my abilities lol.
Just to reiterate; you will only unlock a glowy particle effect for all your current and future owned tier helm and shoulders.
In and of itself it will not grant you the mythic raid transmog.
But if you’re 2500 you can get that Mythic transmog in time

The main reason is : i want to play the game. +8 and normal clear was done in 2 days

Now, more M+ rewards past 2500io would be nice
i would really recommend both elvui (or bartender) so that you can more easily customize your hotbar placements, as well as the plater addon since it makes enemy health bars (and casts) very large and noticeable and then it just becomes a matter of just remembering which thing needs to be cced (ie the pterodax screech in atal dazar, vine choke in everbloom, etc) shaman has excellent aoe CC and stuns with thunderstorm (and the talent that knocks enemies up, rather than away) and shock totem.

The pink nameplates need to be interrupted.
I just got the mouseover tonight to interrupt without needing to actually have them targeted.
It’ll be slow but def getting a lot better lol.
