There’s more than enough realms already, so no need for more. People obsessing over “fresh” realms already had the opportunity when all these launched.
Well I expected you to be able to read between the lines. My mistake. I explicitly brought up two things that would exist on progression servers, but would not exist on fresh servers.
And I am sure you are correct that you would personally not be able to notice it.
Most people won’t, most people don’t care that someone boosted, via mage or paid.
They will once every single person is boosting the meta classes that they took the time to level and they are all saturated with boosted toons.
Lot of hyperbole there.
Plus, if you don’t have a guild pre-launch with your spot reserved… idk what else to say.
So many new tbc players have come to Benediction (my server). To be honest best thing is to keep as many people together. For example my server is always running dungeons and raids at ALL times of the day/night its Amazing!
I understand some wanted fresh but in the long term keeping players that want to play XYZ version of WOW should be consolidated as much as possible.
I also approve of what they did with linking groups of classic era servers to ensure there is good populations online.
Gives me confidence that when in 2 years I elect to stay in TBC era I will have others to play with.
lol this is so good
There were more than enough realms already in Vanilla and TBC when they kept adding fresh realms. I don’t know if you were there. I was. Lots of low pop realms. Also, keep in mind Blizz has changed the classification of realm pops. They’ve said a realm labeled Low now could be considered High pop back in the day.
In any event there is no reason not to add a single pve and pvp realm per region. The demand is obviously there. In fact the demand exists for more than that, but just start with one of each. The anti-fresh trolls, just like the Wall of No trolls before them, will once again be proven wrong.
Actually back then the population kept growing and that’s why they kept adding new realms. I was there but that’s not relevant. What is relevant is that the game was growing so fast it was actually pulled from shelves to stop sales because they couldn’t support more players at the time. This is the exact opposite of the story you’re trying to spin. Feel free to look sub numbers if you want. There’s a steady increase until LK which is when the new realms stopped. Now stop spreading misinformation and stop begging Blizzard to make new unnecessary realms. There’s PLENTY of room on PLENTY of the realms we have now. Pick a low pop if you want.
Edit: Looks like the block list is getting its next delivery. The level 10 troll sockpuppet icon should have been a red flag.
What I said was accurate. They were adding fresh servers when there was plenty of existing low pop realms, so this argument that all Classic servers need to be filled to the brim for Blizz to consider adding fresh is not historically accurate.
Now, you could make the argument they look back and think they added too many servers in Retail and don’t want to make the same mistake. I’d actually agree with that. But there’s a huge difference between adding 100 servers vs. adding 2.
Sure maybe in phase 2 or 3. Let the current plan go through and add fresh servers in a minor phase like ZA.
As long as botters and gold sellers are going unpunished, a “Fresh” server won’t do anything to solve those problems. It will only delay those problems by a few weeks until the botters get to 60 and start going ham farming.
A point that is continuously ignored. That point, along with the fact TBC is an expansion and not a separate game.
Silent majority… Reminds me of 2016.
You act like a multi billion dollar company is going to be in a rough spot if they added a few servers. They’re not very expensive you know.
LOL! You act like a multi billion dollar company is in the business of charity and “should” do something to make a miniscule fraction of their customers happy even if it costs them profits in the long run.
That is not how capitalism works.
Stay in school.
Is it charity if people are paying them? Just curious.
I am very much interested
Where in the world does one buy enough tin foil to believe this kind of rubbish. Everyone knows it was space lasers!
They’re the new Wall of No trolls. Sad they have nothing better to do than try to shoot down an option simply because they’re not interested in it. Luckily they don’t matter. Only Blizzard does, and hopefully after being proven so wrong about Vanilla servers they’ve learned some humility and will actually listen to the playerbase. The demand for a fresh option is massive. It’s just good business.
