I agree however Blizz knows that there would be a mass exodus from retail from the casual crowds, because we all just want to do a few quick dungeons, level alts and gank a few people while we wait for our ques to pop. My prediction is they wont add LFD for quite some time if ever.
Sounds like it was back in the day.
Donât kid yourself.
This is the same song and dance they said since they announced Classic âthere will be a mass exodus from Retailâ, âRetail will dieâ, âRetail will be a ghost zoneâ, etc.
Retail is teetering already, so many have lost interest, pvp is horrible, raiding is still fine I think, (I donât raid to know), Professions are meh with the confusion on crafting and the learning curve ive heard people talking about. dragon riding was cool but the shine has worn off, we need a hover ability to make it more wow like.
I dabbled in Classic when it started because I didnât start playing until TBC, I was quickly reminded how many slight qol changes had occurred over the years and knew it wasnât for me.
There would be no exodus to Wrath Classic just because they added random dungeon finder.
Maybe not a MASS exodus but casuals for sure would drop retail like a hot rock.
It has zero appeal, copy pasted from the last few expansions.

Yeah, thatâs what I think. Vanilla to WOTLK was the sweet spot of the old days. Once you get to Cataclysm, the world drastically changes and so do the game mechanics. Thatâs fine for retail, but after a certain point, Classic WoW will no longer feel like Classic WoW.
people still play that hot mess?
