What is the Funnest Class to Play?

Priest (shadow and disc specifically) has been a recent favorite of mine, but in general I feel like DH is just always the answer to this question due to mobility alone.

Find an ability or talent etc that you REALLY love using. I really, really love using Priest’s Mind Vision on players, NPC’s and even critters!

I found you can MV Nessie through the glass in the Deep Run Tram section. MV is also an ability that can hop from mob, to npc to critter if you stay within the instance or zone (can’t cross loading screens etc).

Plus I love Levitate and few other things for example.

So if you love porting around, pick Mage.

If stealth and reappearing behind your target is your jam, play Rogue. I loved doing this in Strands of the Ancients back in the day to circumvent bombing the door.

If you like double jumping, getting to out of reach places etc, go Demon Hunter.

So things like that. Even down to spell animation and sound. If it just ‘hits’ or has something satisfying with it, go with that in my opinion.

If you don’t care about the meta: Shaman, probably.

But Surv Hunter, Warrior, Bear Druid, Ret Pally, and Outlaw/Assassination Rogue

What’s your personality type? What makes you smile?

Chaos or Strategy?
Subtlety or Audacity?
Reaction or Anticipation?
Precision or Explosions?
Realism or Fantasy?
And most of all,
Pirates or Ninjas?

You are walking through town and see a gang of bandits attacking a peasant. Do you…
A: Do nothing
B: Call for help
C: Attack the bandits
D: Join in and attack the peasant

My choices favor Warrior and Ele Shaman.

I’m leaning toward MM Hunter than this Rogue since it feels like a good Single Target/Cleave spec with Trick Shots, Heavy Ammo, and Explosive Shot on top of Wailing Arrow, Aimed Shot, and (probably the stupidest concept for a ‘Marksman’) Rapid Fire.

Man, thats so hard to choose, OP.

I am forever torn between Mage and Druid.

Mage I enjoy the long range casting, but I am also a bad, so I really take a lot of time enjoying my animations more than I do my DPS. Love Fire, love the explosions and love spreading the fire around, it’s a lot of fun.

Druid: wow, what an amazing class. Often I find I am wasting my time on most other classes because I hit walls while playing and think “my druid can do that” which makes me go back.

I’ve leveld 3 druids, mainly because I love the leveling process but also there was some other utility there. I’d roll a 4th of there were a new race combo that I found interesting.

You get it all with druid. Caster, Melee DPS, Tank and heals. and you can get a decent hybrid out of your spec options.

Normally I level as ferel. This recent go around I did balance for the first time and I had a lot of fun.

I’m thinking Druid.

Do it.

Do it.

Do it.

Fun is subjective. Everyone is going to have a totally different opinion. Lol

In order…

Fury Warrior (Giant Tauren swinging HUGE 2h weapons around is just… it delights me lol)

The rest of the classes/specs

Except Rogue (I love Rogue players, I just can never play the class and enjoy it for some reason)

for leveling: affliction warlock: dot, dot, dot, dot, drain, moar dots

for general world pve activities: BM hunter

for PVP: resto shaman. aoe heals, chain heals, riptide, earthshield. as a tauren you get to stomp. a great BG tank

for m+ DPS: either BM hunter or arcane mage. everything you do on a BM hunter can be done on the move. for arcane mage, i just love the graphics and the (modestly reduced) mini game of big burst/little burst. I like specs that have procs that sort of tell you what to do next. clearcasting missiles into blasts and barrages feels good to me. plus my toon is a nightborne. she loves to be arcane.

for my main activity in M+, tanking in the 2-2.5k score range: i honestly can’t decide between prot warrior (zipping around and smacking stuff in the face with my shield is definitional of “fun”), BDK (mob control and selfsustain are insane and very satisfying), and VDH (sort of in between warrior and BDK in term of zipping around, mob control, selfstain - plus: “I AM MY SCARS!!!”)

in terms of the most fun i think i have had in the game, however, classic TBC rogue: i ran a ghost strike, extra dodge/parry/stealthy build. sneaking around, picking pockets, unlocking chests, ganking mobs, was all the most immersive the game had ever felt to me.

I’ve really enjoyed Balance Druid and Fire Mage.

Combat Rogue

is he looking for the most fun class or a funny class

Nobody can tell you what you’re going to like the most, opinions will vary. You gotta figure it out yourself.

If we are talking fun:

DK for a caster, especially Frost for Melee

Warlock for a caster, Destro because who doesn’t like to blow sh…stuff up.

Elemental shaman is the most fun, I love lightning bolts shooting out of my fingers. I thought the new talent tree was fair, maybe even a little more UMPF to the spell damage than it had.

Second place has to be ret palladin with a big mace, dropping the hammer on mobs is fun.

what if they made a clown class

Used to be MW monk. Now I don’t know, nothing else really jumped out at me.
