What is Sylvanas' motivation?

From following her story. The present Windrunner does a 190 makes zero sense at all. She was never one wanting more power. Till she was ordered by Hellscream she never attacked her neighbor in a very long while. She seems perfectly content experimenting and keeping her forsaken alive.

Then BFA came and she started good and then they just turned around flip the script. From the book to game. She was gone most expansions. Then she shows up at end and again changes course. Which many who follow such things should know and refuse to acknowledge it.

Personal an opinion they were running out of horde heroes. It was either her or thrall. They choose thrall. The thing is he next no matter what. As it been a recurring them to kill of horde characters.

what is this? a liberty biberty commercial?

Sylvannas needs to just be a hermit. That would solve all of her issues as well as everyones issues with her.

In fantasy? Why the heck not, eh?

Large Marge sent her

Sylvanas has got to be one the most interesting characters of the Wow story…

Middle sister between Alleria and Vereesa…. (you know the myths of middle children, yes?) Outshone by the elder, elder to the younger, stuck in between - a lighthouse without a light…

Arthas killed Sylvanas. He made her serve him.

Her beef was not with Bolvar. But if you think she didn’t learn a thing or two in-between, you underestimate her.

This story set-up is really intriguing.

I hope Blizz does a good job with it.

Should I be worried that Malcom from Malcom in the Middle is going to shatter the veil to a Shadowlands and try to rule over us all?

Are you seriously referencing a TV show and comparing it to Wow?

Yeah it’s a joke…should I aim lower so it wont go over your head?

A lot of it is offscreen.

Bellular recently put out a three-video series going into her history and motivations and all of the “trans media” narrative they stuck in everyplace but the book for BfA, which makes her look inscrutable and random in-game.

Except that it wasn’t eternal. She could still be destroyed. Since the end of Wrath, she’s been looking for ways to keep herself from ever dying. Now, however, she’s made a pact with the Jailer, and as more souls are fed to the Maw, she grows stronger, better able to stave off all threats, and, perhaps, get herself into a place where she is the master of Death itself.

OK - joke. You responded directly to me. So own it.

Don’t get defensive when I challenge you.
Over my head?
Spare your ego.
Malcolm in the middle was a show I didn’t watch. Maybe a bit of out the age-range target.

So, rather than be a belligerent tush, how about you converse without insulting?

:woman_shrugging: If you can’t tell I was joking and your first words to me were “Are you seriously” pls. Don’t come at me saying “SpArE yOuR eGo”

OK - thanks for the caps exaggeration.
Got it.
Have a great weekend.

Maybe she thinks there is away to live again? Break free of her prison? Who knows.
