Or how about a Rune Book item that holds all your marked locations? Take it a step further and let players buy an item (runestone) and mark their book with a location, so they can return to that spot anytime they like.

oh wow, yes. Each city “aka current mage destinations” could cost a certain amount to buy that ‘hearth stone’, and then other smaller hearth areas could cost more, like the farther they are from a town. Could literally hearth anywhere.

Either a divine divinity portal or an ESO shrine teleport would be nice.

Looong ago I played Ultima Online. In that game, mage character could buy books, and buy rune stones, then mark the stones to ANY location in the game and put them in a book. They could then give/sell the “rune books” to other characters. It was an awesome way to get around 
In wow, I could see where a similar system would be widely accepted by players.

A player house that binds to your account, think Garrisons but the ability to expand in the future to other plots. All reputation is shared to this house, all currencies, account wide bank, etc…
Something I find tedious is constantly having to swap screens to go to other servers for my characters, especially if I’m doing something like crafting an item on one alt for another. What would be good is if there was some way to have maybe a dropdown that shows all your characters on the other servers so you can just click on that toon over there on X server and log into it.

I would really love to walk in to my player house and just see all my other toons hanging out. Also, rather than having to log out and into another toon, you could just walk up to them and swap.

Its not really of QoL thing though, is it - more of a major content addition. I mean, I’d love it, but only if they did it right. Otherwise not.

for me and the few that use it…the loot-a-rang USEABLE at cata eng 40 instead of 70.
That and Farmhud…the addon…made part of the game UI.
