What is it about WoW that alienates younger players?

If we were being honest, that’s why most people are still playing WoW. It’s not that they particularly enjoy the game, it’s just that they’re so invested at this point, that there isn’t really an option in their minds.

I have honestly not enjoyed this game since Cataclysm and the only reason I play it is because my mates do and we sort of play it for the social factor.
