rewards for me but not for thee
Most people know by now if they will ever get glad and nothing will make them go through the hell required for it.
So basically it comes down to this:
Either PvP will become more casual friendly and it will entice new players to try it
Or
PvP will continue to die a slow death and all the usual glads will continue to push their 3-5 alts to the top of the ladder. Ive seen many elite players on this forum say they are 100% okay with this happening (it probably will)
Most people are completely over it at this point. I used to play thousands of arena matches a season and occasionally hit duelist. Now I see no point in going past 1800. There’s no reason to bother with it at all if you don’t like that seasons mog.
Just my $.02…
Interesting. This hasn’t necessarily been my take on his behavior. A lot of time the threads positive and he jumps in and discredits people with snarky backhanded comments. I mean heck, one of my first nights posting here he acted snobby towards me saying I’d never be in a lobby with him due to my XP. Then a bunch of his friends jumped on me too. That is toxic IMO. Funny thing was we ended up in a game together a few days later. But as Amatox points out; context is probably key here. I’m sure lacking that given the people he harps on.
it should be more casual so more people play, there will still be top 100-500 players, but the game does need to have less button bloat and be simpler truly. a good example is shadowy duel being removed among other toxic abilities also should be removed that are similar because there is just no point in them other than to tilt people.
Have you tried Plunderstorm?
I miss being able to pick up powers with a keybind man what did they do to it
Feeling like a senior with a smartphone trying to left or right click stuff
that is not even remotely the same thing lol but yes I’ve played it, it’s fun but gets boring fast as there wasn’t much content added.
I know! It’s really sad that we just got a slightly tweaked version of the original
imma try it. i see they have a lot of cool mogs/mounts etc
very nice to see an accurate, non-elitist answer about pvp skill levels
+1
I did everything S1. Doesn’t seem like there is a lot for this next round
shuffle/arena where there’s a high amount of pressure
Wait a minute, are you giving shuffle credibility now? Is it a legitimate game mode in your eyes
The world must be ending
Pre-grats on the BGB R1 btw
I’m not getting it lol.
Very high chance you get on the Shaman.
I think Kennie is made out to be more sinister than he is.
I never claimed he was sinister. I just think ‘you aren’t good if you’re not mid-high glad’ doesn’t do much to foster a positive vibe, and since Kennie posts here a lot he’s a primary representative of the forum, and that can be for better or worse depending on how he wants to approach it. But it doesn’t just fall on Kennie, it’s the general climate of PVP.
I returned to raiding this season and everyone is chill, joking around, acting like they probably would if you ran into them in a store somewhere.
I do PVP and everyone is mad, condescending, verbally abusive, etc.
I just think we could be doing more on this forum to change that stigma (on this forum) since it’s such a small collection of people who post here to begin with. And I don’t put all, or even most, of that on Kennie specifically. This was just the first time I decided to see how things are going here in a month or two and 5 seconds into it that comment was in front of me.
It’s no more loaded of a statement than me just saying ‘you guys should be nicer to each other.’
I’m not getting it lol.
Just sit and push at the right times when you see people starting to move up the ladder. I’m rooting for you, would much rather see you get one than the 3 people with 27 alts below you.
Nah. I’m too hated in the community. They’ll win trade, or purposely throw so I don’t get it. I don’t really care about it anyways.

It’s not that serious. Nobody gonna int to get their buddy into a better spot because nobody plays Enh and nobody tryna throw just to nuke some other guy from any of their chars even alts.
Yet win trading happens every season.
Yeah, to get a buddy into range or knock competition out.
Neither of which really apply here.
In the event you’re the victim of a wintrade (which could go either way) it won’t be targeted as it’ll be towards somebody else on your team. Outcome is the same, I guess, but it’s not like anybody gunning for you in particular.
Wintrading can also be used to knock unfavorable people out.
