For me its pretty simple, i very much love Classic mechanically, so i just want more of it. More dungeons, more raids, more reps, more profession stuff to farm in the Classic fashioned way.
Add a few balance changes here and there and that’s all i can ask for.
The only compelling argument i’ve seen against it so far is scaling issues because, yeah Naxx gear is pretty crazy and going beyond that would lead to a WoTLK-Style scenario where some specs get almost guaranteed crits and such. There’s ways around that but it would require a big revamp of the gear again, which i don’t think is something Blizzard is willing to do, but who knows, really depends how monetizable all of this would be for them.
Guess what else wasn’t ever meant to be? Bottom line, money talks, if there’s an audience, they might very well do it.
A few people were clamoring for Classic? That is not even in the same league, son.

To me, it means “give Blizzard a license make changes to Classic which they believe improve the game. Have faith, for some mysterious reason, that this time around they’ll get it right instead of creating a disaster like Modern.”
If you didn’t catch it, that’s a big “no” on whether I like the idea.

A sad joke that deluded people think will actually happen…
We’re like a month and a half after release. We’ll see later down the road.
Classic has an insane amount of untapped potential, unfinished questlines, unfinished zones, even unfinished BGs and Raids (fun fact, Karazhan was originally a vanilla raid). I think more and more people will become curious of what could be with all of this as the phases roll in.
While on the other hand, stagnation is pretty much a death sentence for this game. Yes there might be a handful of purists who will use the servers to Farm T3 on every possible character, or use it for RP purposes or whatnot, but once Naxx has been out for sizable amount of time, there won’t be much anyone else around for it.
new zones on the main map. rebalance crappy specs like oomkin and prot pally. and bringing back none QOL changes like barber and transmog.
Garbage! Classic + is Retail Zoomer rush crazed hot mess of garbage!
To me Classic plus is filling in all the cut content, quests, and dungeons/areas on the original two continents that are absent.
It also means preserving the itemization and relevance of all level 60 content that has been since totally abandoned by current expansions that do not actually expand the game, rather than flush all previous content down the toilet. You know, how an expansion is supposed to expand upon the game, not replace it?
So this could mean added BG’s (Azshera crater), class quests (shaman air totem), zone quests (the eranakus shard quest, or Azshera pirate defense quest), additional raids and zones (Karazhan, Crypts, Hijal, Uldam, etc), and such. BUT specifically done in a way that makes current Vanilla BG’s, Instances and raids still relevant. Maybe in Kharazan crypts you need shadow resistance from Obsidian that you must farm from AQ20/40, or still need Dark Iron or maybe even another use for devilsaur leather. Maybe to enter the emerald dream you need to complete the Sunken Temple shard of eranakus quest line (that is incomplete currently). Furthermore, the ilvl of gear and stats MUST NEVER EXCEED THAT OF NAXX. Aq40 gear already breaks the game for some classes (i.e. warlocks and ele shamans being able to burst for thousands upond thousands of damage in pvp) and that increasing set teirs beyond Naxx would be no better than just moving on to TBC. Instead add these items as horizontal progression for class specs that don’t have pve gear sets, or alternatively offer new specs to be a thing (i.e. a fabled fire rogue set, or a set that enhances their DoT bleed damage substantially!).
Simply adding in item tiers with stronger gear or increasing the level cap utterly defeats the point of Classic+ imo.
