If that’s your takeaway from those threads, you didn’t read many of them. There were way, WAY more pvers complaining about having to do pvp than pvpers complaining about their bgs being ruined. And again - Dalaran Underbelly. MoP Legendary Cloak. Any time even the slightest possibility of pvp is “forced”, the forums turn into a warzone. I used Children’s Week as the example because the amount of pve involved to get that drake is about 10,000x more than the amount of pve, yet you never saw pvpers complaining about it.
I mean they kinda sorta did this in BFA for a little while anyway. It doesn’t really bother me I’d still be on smiting Horde in the face…for Elune!

Accept that PvP servers are dead and buried.
I’d just do dungeons or something instead to level some alts, or I’d just not play. I’m not a fan of pvp, just not that good at it. /shrug
I would hate that. PvP servers are the way to handle that. The whole war mode thing is fishy to me. Perhaps if it only worked on a battlefront in a contested area.
if that’s the case I hope there at least some way around these zones…
It would barely make a difference for me except maybe for doing dragon riding races.
I would get some PVP achievements done. Then take a 29 day break…
Lol I never turned Warmode off and PvP servers are where I’m originally from.
This changes nothing, other than bringing a lot of fresh blood newbs for me to feed upon.
I really only enjoyed PvP when it been spontaneous world PvP battles. And with preferably unknown to me so I arrive to a place and just join an ongoing battle. And when I do, I am loyal to the side of my current character, even if I end up fighting my own guild when playing an alt (yes that has happened some years ago). 
I would not play.
I don’t mind if it’s an event and a limited area that I can choose to go there and participate in, or not. Being forced into a permanent PVP status would make me debate quitting the game.
I’ve played online PVP games before, but only ever fought to defend. I like this game because the PVP is optional. If I get flagged, I probably deserve it. I wouldn’t want to play the game if I had to stay in PVP. My nerves wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Would catch up on housework, much to my wife’s glee.
I played the majority of my time in a PvP server but for this to work they would either need to add in faction balance or break up the servers.
