It finally became useful instead of just alchemy being worth anything
So I was wondering why I didn’t have this recipe if it could level me. Then I saw my answer.
I had to spec into enterprising and glassware. Just to level to 100 with no work orders.
I mean, yeah I could do that. But then I wouldn’t be able to craft the gems I actually used. Kind of a hard choice doncha think? Be able to craft stuff useful, but depend on others to order it to level up. Or spec into stuff you only use to level the profession.
It’s an option.
- There are many ways to 100 skill.
- 100 skill is not even important
- You’re going to complain no matter what
Im a gatherer now. I am good.
Everybody would be decked in 418s if that were the case.
one thing I’m not too fond of…some professions or recipes requiring several items only made by another profession. I mean like engineering demands stuff that only alchemists or Jewelcrafters can make or god forbid how tailoring is now demanding you have access to enchanting materials or combo it with enchanting to progress it even a tad. Oh and um…on topic of tailor…a tip and warning for folk doing it but you MUST specialize in the azureweave and chronoweave if you ever wish to make the bigger reagent bag or bags in general as they demand these two cloths and these bags are more likely to sell a fair bit better than some stuff these days. If you skip the specialization for these two cloths and take the other three specializations you’ll NEVER be able to build those bags unless Blizz allows an undo specialization option in the future or the ability to take all specializations and not have to skip one
Should have been able to craft baseline epic craft gear from the start with no limitation. If that proves “problematic” for balance, then change other things. Make it harder to get Primal Infusions and Concentrated. I don’t care. Waiting 14 days to craft 1 item (or 28 days for a single 2H) is dumb… Half the reason the crafting order system is a failure is because there’s never anything on there. Goes back to what I said the other day
-
Reduce the number of daily public crafting orders you can do from 20 down to 3 or 5 (they are actually doing this)
-
make baseline crafting gear not require sparks
“Some semblance of balance.” for who? Who cares lol… Let people earn stuff for playing the game. Tired of this “everyone has to progress at the same pace” mindset.
Oh no, how tragic
They’d have to reduce M+ rewards to do that. And we all know what happens when that is even suggested…
Okay? Why is this a problem? lol
Gearing via M+ is already too good not even because of the dungeon itself. Getting 421s from the vault is absurdly broken over a moderate amount of time.
gathering professions are the only ones that they got right with the new system.
Blizzard figured out a way to timegate crafting skills. That’s what happened. Soon there will be nothing in this game that isn’t timegated.
This might help you avoid a terrible mistake,
but it will require a hard study, be super careful where you place points go soft on points, ask trade and friends save knowledge points until you are 100% sure it’s a go!
You’ll see odd wording and confusing use of the word skill thinking it means skill up for the craft but LOL it means someother skill!
Otherwise you become a vending machine of boe/bop vendor trash.
Any guide on internet will get you to 50, after that it’s all you bro, because you know Ion, loves player choices/class fantasy.
Why did they destroy professions like this? And weapon enchants are 100k? Was this just to sell tokens for real money
I have actually tried every crafting profession on my main. They ALL suck.
You’re better of just farming ore/herbs/skins/fish
Nah, they accidentally left cooking alone.
It’s S+ tier solely because they forgot to meaningful choice-ize it or timegate it.
There are lots of great crafting MMORPGs out there.
Dragonflight is not among them.
The new crafting is basically this expansion’s Torghast:
Lots of people hate it. A few people like it. And we’re almost certainly going to see fix after fix after fix as they try to make people like it, fail over and over, and then eventually when it reaches some sort of parity where people actually start doing it voluntarily it’s going to be benched for something else.
It’s inevitable.
Dragonflight had a lot of wins.
Crafting is the standout L.
I don’t even check the crafting board to try leveling it anymore, and lets be honest here: You probably don’t either.
yeah, i forgot about cooking.
Need to have work orders for cooking! (not really; i just never get to make anything using the system).
Has anyone found a cooking daily quest? Something that rewards something useful? Not that Ruby Life Shrine thing that rewards food with weird buffs.
