I think they said we aren’t losing these.
As far as we are aware all of those things will still work, just not in Shadowlands content.
They mentioned the HoA will be active everywhere except the Shadowlands, but it won’t be able to be upgraded past what we can do now, so yeah you can hang onto some Azerite armor and use it in TW.
Same goes for Corruption and Horrific Visions, unless they decide to remove it in 9.0.

Yeah I saw that. Not happy with it at all tbh. More and more this game is just driving me away. Ah well, ESO is going to be dropping a new chapter soon so it’s all good I guess. Not like there aren’t plenty of other games to play.
I don’t see them staying. THey were BfA specific and might work for a short time until you start replacing gear as you level.
Tbh The Medallion itself could work as “Skill Tree” if it had like 10 rings and Essences we collect and alter our build. Just a thought.

Just wait until you have even crappier classes than you do currently AND you have to spend 13 months working on Pathfinder.

If the classes get worse, the game gets deleted off my PC for good. After the WC3:R non sense, I believe it shows they have zero interest in putting out a well designed, polished, customer centered product.
I know some will say that is an overreach but at this point, no. No it is not.

I dont know lowest poing for Fire Mages were during WoD when we were pruned like over 20 abilities away. Now Fire is playable but not even close to what it was in Wrath-Cata or MoP.
I am curious how the fel they are going to scale everything. Especially the hundreds of dungeons and raids they have. Will we be able to scale to Molten Core at 15? What will happen with flying? Do we get it right out the bat at 10? Even then will the gold cap decrease to fit these levels? How much will flying be? And what will the 60-70-80 level flying scale too?
We keep them and can keep earning them for achievements, but they will be staying within BfA. You can use them for a bit into shadowlands, but it is likely you’ll get something better from questing. Basically, they aren’t going to pull a Legion and drain all of our tedious grinding, leaving us with nothing but some mogs to show for our effort.
The positives for fire mage is that we have the damage/numbers now,
where in Legion, all 3 mage specs were mediocre compared to other classes. (i feel bad for people who like frost right now though)
BUT, the fire spec itself was more fun to play during Legion. (rotation wise)
Too many abilities were pruned. We have to choose between them now.
Flamestrike and Fireball needs redesign for sure.

Given how BfA went when they tried removing artifacts and adding a GCD, they are either all hands on deck to prevent it again or they are just carrying on like they always do towards a nuclear dumpster fire.
I hate saying this, but we really won’t know until testing begins.

I hear you. Beta should be up in few months. That will tell if its a failure. Atleast we will know before Shadowlands comes out.
I main this guy and as a warlock I damn near have to relearn to play the class each patch let alone expansion. So I just go with the flow and no longer stress it.
