I didn’t realize we were supposed to be ambassadors of classic proselytizing to convert any and all wayward souls spying on this thread. I thought were were just having fun pointing out differences in the games.
I will happily hand-hold anyone who needs it while playing, but in the meantime can we just have a bit of fun?

Yep, unless they have been doing their research they will be asking about quest locations, drops, ‘why cant i get this quest’ that they want the reward for, and so on.

^^ this. Many of us that will be playing Classic (myself included) have not touched the old world (as it was pre-cataclysm ) since cataclysm as we refuse to play on ILLEGAL (private makes them sound legit so it is not a good term to use) Pirate servers.
Been Playing since Feb 2006 and will check out classic to see if it’s the game I remember which got me hooked in the first place, if it is I may even stay a while , if not then I’ll go back to playing retail.
Oh, it still is a very potent gamer drug for many people based on beta.
