Evil classes and faction. (Like how warlocks should be.)
A knightly class or specialization powered by the devilry of fel magic and demons. Like unto a Death Knight, but with fire, brimstone and mobility; for lack of better words, a Demon Knight.
So basically demon hunter.
Mechanized Exo-force of the Aezerothian Nation (MEAN)
and not ‘just’ so my D’Va Crossplay is both Overwatch and WoW.
A knight weareth plate armor.
A Demon Hunter doth not.
A knight may wield a weapon which requireth two hands to so do, or may a shield boasteth.
A Demon Hunter doth not.
A knight hath horsemanship as one of theyr many skills.
A Demon Hunter doth not.
A knight striketh from the fore, brazen as the bright crest of theyr surcoat.
A Demon Hunter doth not.
A knight neither languisheth o’er theyr chosen profession nor oft rusheth to theyr doom a bare-chested oaf in leathern dress.
A Demon Hunter oft doth.
Believest as thou wilt, though, I cannot but speak reason.
Battle-mage;
People capable of using martial skills and interweaving arcane magic in their strikes.
anatomically correct tauren
More RP as was the design in vanilla. Hunters is a classic example: you had to train your pet, feed it to keep loyal to you, buy and use ammunition, train yourself up, etc. We need more of that immersive sort of stuff in the game.
“Dormammu, I have come to bargain…for battle mages!”
For you sir…I present the 10 hour loop of Dr. Strange bargaining…
i like that idea. sounds like the slayer class in tera, enjoyed it there, would like it over here too.
though, you want my ideas for classes? well… i’d like a chronomancer class. a class based around the bronze dragonflight, that throws sand bolts, sets up time-traps, and uses time magic to mess with enemies and heal wounds, you get the idea. basically, chromie from HotS, but in WoW.
or if they wanted to cut-out the time-powers, a geomancer, with abilities focused entirely on the sand/desert/earth theme, with the ability to cover themselves in stones, and be a cloth tank. all while creating quicksand pits, make sandstorms, shifting the earth to create ‘walls’ that block opponents in pvp, you get the idea… if they wanna be lazy, i’ll even take a set of desert themed glyphs for mages, that change all the frost-mage spells to desert-themed, i just want sand-powers dangit!!
other than that, an alchemist class, that throws out wacky concoctions, splashing big pools of poison, acid and tar, throwing out healing salves and potions to heal allies, buffing the heck outta their allies or themselves in a dr.jekyl-mr.hyde type of thing. maybe mutating themselves in various ways to depending on their opponent…
the kind of class i want, could totally change the flow of a battle by their very presence, by messing with their enemies on the battlefield. the kind of class that makes players have to think before fighting’em.
every class should have some form of what classic hunters had. Warlocks should be caring for their summons. Warriors should be caring for their armor and weapon…ect…
Imagine if warriors could learn a skill which enabled them over time to alter their gear. I don’t mean necessarily change it radically but perhaps learn how to give it a different colour scheme, perhaps an ability to change one stat in some way. Perhaps something similar to the warlock green fire challenge where they have to pass a test of their warrior skill and a special blacksmith gives them a tool that lets them put some special wings on their shoulders or whatever.
-Playable dragons, or even Sethrak at least.
-Armor craftable from beastial bosses only, they drop guaranteed parts every time, and certain beast parts come from certain beasts only. The armor must resemble a boss in some way, not just be a recolor of a current tier set. Not just resemble a boss, but resemble the specific one you got your parts from. Beast parts can include stuff like teeth, beaks, claws, fur, scales, etc., but only to the specific boss. For example, if this was implemented in 8.3, Wrathion would drop ‘Black Dragon Horn’ or ‘Black Dragon Claw’. Then, it would be crafted into Wrathion Armor. By the way, all these armors would be crafted via Leatherworking probably. Additionally, they would be moggable as a cosmetic item, therefore making it armor-type-wide. In summary, Monster Hunter armor crafting, but in WoW, and cosmetic.
-Good creature and armor designs across the board, instead of the, like, 3 good designs out of the entire game that we have now. (This is never gonna happen unless we get a better art team tbh)
That’s mostly, but not completely like what Enhance Shaman is.
it’s probably as close as we’re going to get, though.
no swords, no deal lol. Also not too big on totems.
More space magic~~
More shapeshifters~~
More monstrous races~~
I LOVE Viva La Dirt League!
i wish every once in a while a portal to the pudding dimension would open above my head and i’d get covered in chocolate pudding
I can give you a portal to the magni dimension instead… “Champion!”
We can’t play as Tinkers despite them being in every expansion, and the RTS games.
I wanna be a goblin mechanic with guns and mechs and stuff. Like we see in the Motherlode.
