What exactly are we paying for?

So we have S1 vendors in the game for honor

Frost Nova and fear never ending bugs

Faction imbalances

Arena rating issues (winning points at 2400 vs 1500 team)

Did I miss anything else? Like what exactly is our $20 a month going towards? It definitely isn’t quality control.

How did private servers with 4 dudes in basement making the server handle all these for free? Yet millions a month can’t handle it?

we’re paying to keep the machines in the server room humming. that’s about it -.-

We’re paying to make executives and shareholders richer. Oh and a little game maintenance with the spare change.

They play and care about the game. The people that own WoW know that it’s on its way out. If you think they’re going to do anything but wring as much cash out of this as possible before it’s gone you don’t understand much about businesses.

We’re paying so they can rerelease overwatch as overwatch 2 and fail again at creating a successful new IP or a game that people would actually play like Starcraft online.

Blizz is essentially driving down the road, picking up roadkill that doesn’t look too beaten up (vanilla/tbc classic) and extracting the little bits of fur and stuff that can be salvaged in order to maintain their small business which sells fur bags, skins, and pouches.

You pay for access to the servers.

blizzard should care more about WoW because I predict classic WoW servers will be their biggest money maker in the future. it’s not like they’re able to make anything new these days…

I mean I’m no business man but these fixes aren’t expensive, it’s like one dude needing a day : remove a vendor, remove items. Boom fixed major issues.

Cheap fix, longer last player base. Seems like profit to me.

I don’t exactly envy Blizzard. They’re probably looking down the hall at the Infinity Ward offices, wishing they had the Call of Duty fanbase. Say what you want about those bigoted eight-year-olds, at least they’re illiterate.

The ability to connect* to servers.

*terms and conditions apply.

and how does blizzard fix this when it is a player created problem?

I don’t really understand either. I’m disappointed.

Because todays Blizzard i$ very very different than the original one

Its going to the upcoming severance packages and paying off investors when blundzzerd finally goes belly up

Private servers handled it with incentives for the lower populated faction. Free mount at 60, or free flying, double badge of justice, 1.5x rep, 1.5x honor. There is tons of options really. And it’s not a player problem it’s a blizzard problem balance racials and you’ll have balanced factions.

The car is running, No one behind the wheel … figuratively …and literally.

and that’s private servers, not a legit server. blizzard has never offered anything like that, only thing close to that would be having free server transfers given to a faction that was dominant on one server, but dead on another server.

What does this mean?

tbh blizzard makes 4 times as much on cod then wow. with 1/8th the complaints
