Yeah I get it into my head every season that “the set bonus is good this season surely!” and “a bit of haste and crit couldn’t hurt anyone, right?”. I should just always go mastery verse lol. For herald, I think it’s weaker than templar, not bad, but just worse than templar. The burst you get from a divine resonance hammer of wrath with a blessing of an’she proc and an art of war proc, while strong, is less than templars burst, and due to the nature of the procs, you can’t get it consistently during your goes.
For dps, I honestly have no idea, since details is bad now and I don’t log my games. I do see my scoreboard damage is almost always at the bottom, but that’s more from the fact I have to kite with the low verse a lot more than I would normally. In arena, I have 18% versatility lol

I feel that on the tier decision, been a couple times at least I found myself wishing for a Catalyst Unconverter no doubt!
Goes without saying that it comes down to user error on my part since Temp is pmuch a lock in 3s and still decently more popular than Herald in Shuffle, but my damage just CRATERS when I play Temp, both sustain and burst. Not that I’m maximizing all that’s available thru Herald during those litttle kill / force CDs windows by any means, but good lord I may as well be a hunter’s pet as Templar haha.
But even as Herald, still play wildly inconsistent from lobby to lobby, even round to round. Not uncommon to just straight up have an aneurysm in the middle of a game as I deliberate on “Should I Sanc healer here or hold?” or trying to decide if I BoP a teammate getting railed by an arms w/ Avatar up or Spellbop because the fmage is getting ready to Bust on em. Then once I finally make a decision I’m probably just gonna LoH myself for no reason instead. It’s so bad haha.
Still actually having fun despite pingponging around 1650-1700 tonight. Running on about 4hrs sleep over the past 3 days helps with not caring, but I’m sure ppl in my lobbies dont appreciate the mental haze so much.

My answer is DH, rarely are they the kill target before the gates open. On an unrelated, but kind of related note; i feel like spriest are an anomaly in that sense. People always want to go them, but i swear it’s bait every single time because they just don’t die.

I think I’m either doing something horribly wrong rotation wise, or the stats I have just mess with my damage more than expected, because almost every lobby I’m bottom damage. Last night I fought petkick and two dhs, and I was doing around a third his damage. Like it felt like I was just running around on a horse cc’ing and doing nothing else lol.
Oh and of course I’m taking unhealable damage so I have to hid behind pillars every time we’re not doing a go

What about DH makes them bad to target? The leech? I can understand vs wizards with disengage CC immunity/wall, but how are they not a target vs melee cleaves? Still wear leather

They can fly up in the air and do all sorts of monkey business.
They’ll actually end up outleeching with blur up
A bad DH or one that gets giga outplayed will be run over, but if a havoc can outplay the goes they just won’t die.

It’s a trust level system and it’s dumb. 
You need trust level 3 to be able to post links. The short of it is you need so many likes, have liked so many comments/replies, created so many posts and comments/replies, and read like 20,000 comments. The first few are generally easy enough to get. For reading posts, you can just find some of the massive threads and scroll through them. Once a post is read, that lil blue dot on the right hand side of each comment goes away. Unfortunately, you can’t check to see where you’re at with each of the items. Also, can’t have any recent suspension (6 months). Even a one day suspension for trolling will make you lose it and plenty of people on this forum will gladly flag something as trolling. Some mods are great and understanding, some less so.

Really? I always target ret because I want to force his cooldowns.
Idk if I 100% agree with people saying Ret. Ive been in matches where I can fake the ret/get them to pop defensives early and then melt them. A lot of rets in lower brackets are playing bc of tier lists and aren’t actually that skilled
If they’re actually good at ret then I wouldn’t go for them though
