The primary goal of PTRs isn’t to obtain bugs though. The goal of PTRs are mostly aboutn improving gameplay loops and different hardware configurations.
It has very little to do with actual QA work. In fact most of the bugs you write on PTR like environments have to be rechecked by QA before they’re even considered to be actual bugs.
But again my point isn’t that these environments can’t be helpful, its that asking your playerbase to do this work for you should be unacceptable. Getting more people on the PTR isn’t the solution. The solution is a better supported QA team.
PTRs are great for feedback and the occasional bug hiccup, but the vast majority of important QA work should be left to the development team. Not players paying money.
Where did I say I didn’t consider something like that a bug? Its most certainly a bug. Whether or not it was found or prioritized to be fixed is another thing entirely.
There wasn’t a .gif in your original post? You can just accept that your joke wasn’t as clear as you thought it was.
