Finish the emerald dream world (there are 4 for each world boss portal) and make each a raid, with the world boss dragon as one of them.
Finish Grim Batol, Uldum, and Timbermaw Hold. Add things from WC3 that never made it into WoW, such as the huge dungeon in Stonetalon Peak.
Fill out more of the map with some questing content to make up for couple of gaps when leveling.
Rework some of the easier encounters to be a bit harder. Rebalance the gear and power level curve to accomodate more content.
Delete AQ20 and restore the entire AhnâQiraj zone as was originally intended.
Add in from TBC + modifications Keepers of Time (originally was meant to be in vanilla) and Kara
Increase class robustness so that ret, shadow, moonkin, feral etc are useful, but do so in a way that doesnât tend towards homogenization and doesnât just copy TBC or Wrath talents. Also, ensure that any new talents or abilities keep the world relatively difficult; the world is boring when youâre too powerful. Change the classes just enough that they feel both familiar and fresh.
i donât think they drop in quality. it becomes harder to know where to go though, but thatâs part of the challenge of âgrowing upâ as a WoW character.
I think I may be biased because Iâve never done silverpine but I think the alliance defias chains and dusk wood are the best leveling quests in the game.
Special mention goes to the hidden enemies chain horde side.
lol, Barring some that want âharder contentâ , sum up this thread and you have the casual portion of Retail lol.
And people wonder how we ended up with what WoW is now âŚ
Edit: Me? I think gnomes are the master race. They should be cross faction and can be any class. That is all. Well, new raid tiers with minimal power creep would be nice. Keep class homogenization out. Keep the identity of classes and spec. Some will be better than others and thatâs ok. No world buffs. Keep the soul of the game intact by gating people out if they donât have the time. Keep the carrot on the stick. And yes, I saying knowing that iâll be one of the people being gated out.
Pretty much, I want a new game built on top of Vanilla. Imagine not knowing what comes next. Itâs a Classic playerâs worst night mare, and itâd be brilliant.
When you figure out how spells such as Fade function when youâve played a priest for 60 levels then you may expect me to engage further with you, Arielba.
You act as if blizzard hasnât tied gear to rating in the past, which takes time/effort to obtain.
Also at the very least scrap the dog rating system for bgs, sitting at my chair farming honor endlessly for weeks was never fun and never will be. Just because you abandoned life responsibilities for weeks to do randoms shouldnât earn you anything. Add rbgs and just be done with this jurassic system.
When WoW was tearing the cover off the ball with this franchise it encouraged many people to go into the industry and learn how to make games. Im assuming some of them made it. Ive read many a resume where people cite they played and loved this game.
You get the right leadership and the right people and Classic+ can be a real thing. But thatâs more of a daydream than anything else. Its not impossible though as many would tell you.
