I miss PvP servers. During Cata I was on Blackrock and remember going to the instance in BRM and there just being miles of skeletons all the way down from all the battles. Or joining the worlddefense channel and seeing what is being attacked and responding. So much fun.

I do miss the world defense channel badly. I complete forgot it was a thing too. Did that fade away because of warmode??
I like recognizing names and guilds and engaging in honorable massive combat. We can go light or heavy no problem. Iām easy to find.

World Defense faded away sometime in MoP/WoD. They broke it once they implemented CRZ and sharding, so this was done before War Mode.

Youāve chunked out the math algorithm to result in absolute sorting, of course exact nunerical ratio sorting doesnāt make any sense but from what I can tell it currently doesnāt factor in any rmeaningful ratio sorting at all.
It wouldnāt take much to count and disperse appropriately. Thereās a few tricky factors to underdtand when wanting consistent and unexploitable results, however.
Iāve seen 40 man ācrate farmsā of both factions on different shards. Shameful.
You should be able to flag as an open-world mercenary for bonuses to even it out. Having World PvP as a bunch of crate clickers and mount hoppers makes āwar modeā ārun away modeā.
