Especially vs warrior which you cannot fear.

You learn how to play a healer spec if you want to win in 2s, shadow priest in 2s is hard to do. If you’re doing a battleground, then kill them before they get to you of course, stun them, use instant casts, etc.

bro, git good learn to use your abilities and pvp talents

  1. You cast fade, this allows you to get maybe two shadow mends off
  2. when they cast their DPS cooldowns on you while your stunned use dispersion you will heal up and negate damage
  3. void eruption, stun, get vampiric touch out, , bait the spell reflect. shadowfiend, etc… this will probably get your opponent to 60% and they will probably use defensives,
  4. fake cast shadow mend, fake cast shadowmend, bait the interrupt, shadowmend.
  5. refresh vampiric touch, get interrupted because war stomp and probably die cause SP gets run over by warriors, especially if they land a big crit followed up with joocy executes…

Bait pummel and spell reflect. You can cast random Mass Dispels and like 80% of the melee mongos will kick it. Don’t fear because they’ll just Berserker Rage. Try to MC and move them as far as possible.

Fade the spear of bastion / avatar / sharpen blade. Most warriors have a dumb one-shot macro so they’ll do all of these at once.

Get Vamp Embrance running before you burst. And save Dispersion as your last resort, it’s probably our best defensive against melee.

Well, you’ve got Divine Ascension, and Greater Fade. Chastise and fear are better used for setups, BUT you can’t setup if you’re dead; so use them if you need to.

After that, bait kicks with Mind Control, if they kick shadow you can free cast heals in their face, if they don’t you can run them away and get off a few Flashes before they’re back on you, and even MC again for a few more.

In 3’s, (and even in 2’s) your DPS can’t be expected to stay on you, but good DPS will CC/peel/use CDs when you’re in trouble.

Largely it’s a team effort. Healers can’t survive getting trained forever.
