What do you do for a living?

Being a housewife has its own set of rewards and challenges, that can often surpass those of careers. My wife loves being with the kids and I would be lost without her. You are doing great im my book

Up until about a month ago I was a network analyst for a national ISP, but now I’m a hardware engineer for a company that makes software for pharmacies and governmental use (mostly state level)

Yeah I feel ya. I drive a forklift at the tire plant. Definately wasnt my choice on career day at school lol.

I’ve been a teacher for about seven years now. It really isn’t my favorite, but I love my kids. I would love a new career, but it isn’t easy to branch out.

I’m a retired software engineer. During my 32 years doing software, I worked on the Apollo project, and worked for Data General, RCA (twice), Cisco and other companies.

I did very-high-speed (state of the art, sometimes) real-time software. For the last 10 years it was in the telecomm industry (internet stuff). Before that I did compilers and other tools programmers use.

But no games.
