Vice President of Property and corporate financial investment
Invest company money into funds and other areas, as well as work with a team to find to properties to purchase. Work in a hotel investment company. Buy, and manage hotel properties using investor contributions (investment). Prior to this I worked at wall street for JP morgan from the age of 21-26.
Before that I used to work as a Aircraft Technician, got my FAA airframe and powerplant licence at the high school I went (aviation HS)

Most of the time, I stare at my desk, but it looks like I’m working.

I know that’s referencing Office Space, but it’s legit my job. When it’s busy, I’m working like crazy. When it’s not, I’m browsing the internet and playing on my phone.

I work in a manufacturing plant’s office area.

Former Long haul trucker, I had to retire due to a health condition. Now my husband drives and I have a small farm. I raise Nubian goats for milk, have a milk cow for milk, butter and cheese, and I raise a lot of the food we eat. I do a lot of canning of food for winter, along with raising my own fruit for jams and jellies. I also bake all the bread we eat.

Website Consulting and Implementation. Don’t actually design sites but help customers implement their ideas and manage the site.

My title is way fancier than what I do. I handle programming and design changes for utility bills.

Retirement plan administration, which is a fancy way of saying that I email employers all day, every day to say, “Hey, you know those numbers we said we needed you to look over three months ago? And a month ago? And two weeks ago? And last week? Yeaaaaah, we really need you to get back to us on that because if you don’t by tomorrow the IRS is going to impose some fines on you, so

Former USAF. Currently working on a glorified help desk / system support team for the USAF. Multiple Oracle certifications but my job consists mostly of copying and pasting.

I used to live in Shelbyville, TN. Bet you’ve heard of it. Walking Horse capital of the world.

10 years USAF as a 3C0x2. I loved it too but got an offer I couldn’t resist back during the .com bubble days.

Worked for the DoD for 2.5yrs which allowed me to pay off all school loans and save up quite a bit (living with parents might’ve helped
). Decided to pursue my dream of being fluent in Spanish and took a cool little church/orphanage/school gig in Mexico. It’s actually really rad. Not forceful with anything and not ironically using their own religion to undermine what they preach. I credit the progressive minded and intelligent couple who run the whole thing.
After this fun adventure (estimating 3yrs), I want to be a teacher and love/inspire the generations to come. Thinking late elementary or middle school math. School of Rock might’ve influenced me on the teacher idea. Jack Black is my hero!

I’m a tenured college professor
which is sorta weird considering I started playing WoW my first semester of undergrad. What a long, strange trip it’s been.

I manage a bunch of nerds at a billion dollar tech firm and by manage I mean I read reddit and the WoW forums for 7 hours and spend the other hour sending status updates to my managers.
