They are like the dwarves. Females and males share the same model, females just have bigger beards.

I don’t want more races. I think they suck up a lot of development budget without adding meaningful content to the game. A new race plays all the existing content just like every other race.

vulpera and wildhammer dwarves. just saw the vulpera’s sleep animation. can’t believe the horde’s gonna get the cute lil guys. as for wildhammers, well
 isn’t it obvious?

There’s nothing that I’m dying to have but I like the way the new rep fish people look - the Ankoan. I would like them to give us a couple of new races with starting zones after each of the base races get their subrace AR though.

Hey Eveara/Lunnaya. I know you and I don’t get along as well due to our Past History of course but I want to put old grudges aside because I’m going to be leaving the Forums due to What’s happening in my own life. I hope you take care of yourself and I hope you get what you wanted in the Game as well.

My dream list for Alliance:
Sethrak, broken (like those on argus ), Arakkoa, half elves and vrykul

Frankly, if any of these five races were made playable, i would enjoy a lot.

I too would love to see Half Elves added as an allied race for the Alliance, if High Elves are truly not an option, they would be a better compromise then Velfs, i’d also really love Naga as well, they do have the whole tail problem, but that’s easily solved by giving them 2 forms like Worgen, their combat and swimming form would be your standard Naga, while the out of combat and mounted form would be a scaley Naga/Nelf , or Naga with legs basically lol, there was a thread on here or somewhere else that put forward this solution and i really liked it.

What I want is for Alliance to actually look up guides for bosses before actually doing them and killing the group.

I’m gonna guess a whole lot of “High Elves”, “Half Elves”, and vague calls for more “Unique Races” (that few Alliance will actually play 4 more than 5 minutes before they default back to the more traditionally pretty races)? :smiley:

High Elves, or another dwarf, would be the worst ones ever. We already have both, with different names and slight cosmetic differences.

Wildhammer dwarves look exactly like dwarves.

High Elves look nearly exactly like Blood Elves.

They’d be nearly as much of a waste as Lightforged Draenei.

Why do people want what we already have? The last thing the game needs is another elf, ever, for all time.

Because 
 the Alliance faction has never been thematically deverse, and many people care a WHOLE lot more about Aesthetics than they do culture and lore (on both factions).

High Elves are Blood Elves that stayed with the Alliance after the Second War (they don’t really have much of a civilization beyond Dalaran and the lodge in Hinterlands). Wildhammer are standard Dwarves with Blue Tattoos (but at least they could be interesting culturally); too bad Dwarves actually have about as much of a playerbase population than Gnomes. More unique races?

  • The Broken with Akama would have been my go-to for the Draenei AR (but i’d guess that they wouldn’t see that much play if they were made).
  • The Junker Gnomes I actually like conceptually (I always wondered what you could do with the Gnome sociopathy if you take it to an extreme), but many Alliance despise Gnomes?
  • The Ankoan/Jinyu/Sethrak all might be neat 
 but again, due to them lacking that “pretty” appeal I’m fairly certain that they would see a pretty minority population playing them.
