rogue has clos it’s magic immunity (evasion also prevents melee dam but wouldn’t call it an immunity), shaman has borrow, hunter has turtle
Rogue can be attacked through cloak, shaman and hunter take damage from dots through burrow/turtle
It’s only a partial immunity. You can’t be targeted for direct damage. You still take DoT damage.
Think not having as many pure immunities are good. Having some counter play too defenses is just as good as counters to offenses.
Game would be little boring if we all can just hide in a bubble.
I agree. I don’t like how the classes have become increasingly homogenous.
I don’t want WW mobility because that’s their thing. Enhancement mobility just needs a little more gusto.
They should just make rushing reflexes reflect all spells cast on you for 0.5 seconds after using roll
DH netherwalk, Mage Ice block, Shaman burrow, Hunters Turtle, Paladins Divine Shield, Rogues if they evasion/cloak (I know it’s not practical but still counts) lol. However Monk has karma which is annoying enough so I don’t think they need any kind of immunity.
Burrow and turtle aren’t immunities, even if rogues can cloak evasion at the same time they can be stunned and hit through it.
Mostly with high mobile ranges like Mages, Deva and Hunter. They all can kite a WW so good, that he barely can generate uptime. Also feral can be hard if played very well, as they can just bleed, stun into kite and repeat that until you die.
Other than that sub rogues and rets can be a hard setup, as they can negate your defense completely. At least you can hit them though …
How can they be if it’s physical or magic it would be ignored? Also turtle and burrow count to me because you cannot harm them when in that state thus you’re immune to damage… lol
Evasion doesn’t make you immune to range abilities. So Warriors with Stormbolt can bypass it. They also can’t dodge stuff when they are controlled, so incap into Leg Sweep and other physical ccs like warrior fear, DH incap, etc. do work.
They aren’t immune to damage, they just become immune to hits but dots are ticking, so they still can die.
I understand, but then I’ll just word it different, you’re immune to additional damage once turtled or burrowing, thus it’s still falling under immunity imo. As for rogue I don’t play it enough to know every trick, so I’ll just give you this one lol
You can’t be immune if you can still die while it’s up
Agreed, Tiger’s lust is kind of useless about 99% of the time. Instant root as soon as I use it, then it’s back to RP walking until a roll comes off cd just to get rooted again.
I am rusty and need more practice, but there was some duelist ww giving my hunter a hard time today. Granted it looked like he was playing classic with all the buffs he had, but it felt like he just instantly got out of any snares I had and was inston top of me doing huge damage.
The times I was able to aimed/explosive/rapid/black arrow, it barely moved his health bar.
Evasion/Cloak, Burrow, Shell
You can take damage from dots in burrow/shell
You can stun a rogue through evasion/cloak to hit them so no that isn’t an immunity.
Don’t bother, they will just disagree haha
