That’s essentially what most people who scream “bot” do, yes.
Likewise with you, OP, pertaining to the game, mostly. I can’t imagine stalking other characters to determine whether or not they’re a “bot” 
I honestly think banning foreign accounts should be the way to handle it partially. It seems the Chinese gold farming is strong as it was back in the old days. Soon we will see honorbuddy rear it’s ugly head again and the incentive to play legitimately will die.
As my realm is OCE based, we raid with players from several different countries. Some of which are working abroad.
Also, I know a player who sells gold from my own country so there goes that assumption.

I frequent the forums, regularly and have been very vocal in what disappoints me. 10 years later, we get Classic (something I’ve advocated for and was very disappointed in the company in trying to force their player base into NOT talking about it). A little passed 10 years, they finally want to put a stop to input broadcasting for MBers (another thing I’ve been fighting for). So, no Blizz CAN be wrong but just because they’re wrong in some things doesn’t mean they can’t be right in other things.
IK you won’t be able to read this 'cause you “blocked” me, but it’s not for you. It’s for those reading and making their own conclusions based off of what they’re reading.

the bots are running rapid on our server netherwind, and they are kiling the market on zg coins/bijous… cant make any gold
I do believe Bots exist, what I don’t believe is people’s ideas in what classifies as a “bot”, in order to feel justified in getting their competition to be actioned.

Yea it’s terrible on Herod. The whole server runs off bots. Everyone buys gold. Most of the guilds even have an in house gold seller. It’s atrocious. Blizzard does next to nothing. They simply do not care.

What description are you putting in the report?
That’s important.
Give time, place, purpose of the bot farm (example, killing turtles for golden pearls) and behavior that reveals it as a bot.

Ive put in over 10 extremely detailed reports, had other alliance players report him too, nothing. Blizzard simply does not care and is more than happy to make me wait a month for the next ban wave. All while knowing full well the bot will return in a week. They’ve made it clear that classic=cashgrab and nothing else.

You’re right, I should just buy gold like everyone else. Silly of me to think I should be allowed to play the game without RMTing.
I’m saying you should quit the game because your demands are never going to be met. Speak with your wallet, hardly anyone who complains on the forums ever does, and I’m sure that Blizzard realizes that.

You’re right, I should, but I enjoy the many other aspects of the game too much. Still yet, it’s sad that such an awesome game could be rereleased in such horrible shape and given SO little attention.
I really feel like the classic community should be IRATE at the amount of money they’re putting in relative to the amount of attention this game is getting from the devs.
It feels like Blizzard is just trying to prove “you think you want it but you don’t” but actually proving “you thought we would moderate it but we won’t”.
We don’t get personal service. There are 800,000 of us. We don’t each get a personal human (GM) to act on our report. Not for $15/mo. At that price, we don’t get to tell Blizzard “ignore all the other reports and act on mine”.
Besides, YOUR report isn’t enough. The player must be botting when the GM sees them, NOT just when YOU see them.
That is false. If there are 5,000 bot reports, not finishing EVERY REPORT is not “doing nothing”.
Stop being silly and pretending you are the only player in the game, or that your report is the only report.

If they can’t get to it fast enough they need to hire more people to get to it. They’re making plenty of money off of us. You’re crazy if you think they don’t make enough money to fix the bots in a TIMELY fashion. They just CHOOSE not to so they can pay their CEO 60 million a year.
FURTHERMORE, because of people like you incessantly defending them, they think it’s acceptable to take a month to ban an OBVIOUS cheater.
Stop being so gullible. It really hurts all of us.
EDIT: Also If you’d read my posts you’d know that I’ve had multiple other players report him as well. Everybody that farms the spot knows this guy is a botter.
