What do people complaining about the story expect from Blizzard?

Where did the stories go wrong? Wasn’t it during Cataclysm?

From the outside looking in, I think sales were far below target, and they decided to wrap it up. They also sold year subscriptions and pre-orders prior to this patch dropping, which appears to back up my theory.:person_shrugging:

But they’re not wrapped up, they already said there’s another patch coming after this one with more story.

I liked the spoilers ( Tyrande’s moon ritual part.)

But thats it. The writing was very basic kinda? Like even more basic than usual warcraft. I wish we could go more towards the dark portal writings. When u saw Turalyon,a fledgling paladin with Alleria and her issues with orcs, and khadger a promising mage with a looming future all thrust infront of an onslaught of another world and an endless horde of orcs. I really liked those stories tbh, and yes they were pretty simple. :cloud_with_rain:

Yeah the dragon aspects felt like late-season CW characters. A lot of it truly comes down to dialogue, which it’s obvious that they don’t have a whole lot of talent with yet. The best dialogue this whole expansion was that one dragon who had the old dwarf visage form. Maybe they can get more like that.

I enjoyed the “avengers assemble” moment, personally. Felt perfectly fine in a video game like this, and this quest chain showed that Fyrakk had limitations. Which feels so much better to go hunt down this strong ancient dragon than it did to go kill the god of the underworld with a few small blessings from his siblings.

It certainly could’ve been better though, but I don’t think it was bad enough for people to be foaming at the mouth about it. I’ve played through far worse stories in other games I’ve enjoyed.

I completely agree. Would love to see it get a little more mature. After all, this game is rated T, not E for everyone.

Everything you said falls under the umbrella of what I said. You’re feedback noise.
