Owls are better leveling pets for solo pve due to moderate stats and the ability to train Screech at lvl 16 (Westfall vultures).
But there is little variety in their models so thats a bummer.

Seriously though. Get a boar. With charge they engage mobs quicker⊠and at least for a while you will be fighting for tags. If you break loose from the crowd⊠go cat for speed killing. But Humar? Humar is MINE! Until Broken Tooth that isâŠ
I give a hoot and donât pollute. Then I go tame an owl.
Fun fact. Did you know many cities are releasing owls because they take care of the feral cat population?

They do not eat fish it looks like; only meat. They do like spider legs however.
