So pretty soon I’m going to be unlocking the Dark Iron Dwarves. about 16000/21000 away. give or take.
I’m having a small issue as to what class to make my future fiery dwarf. seems all the racials point towards Warrior but I already have a Dwarf Warrior in the making (Though I suppose I could change him to Hunter for the Dwarven Rifleman theme)
I don’t know what to do. This as well as my entire Alliance list have been giving me problems, heck I’m still trying to figure out if I want to race change my Orc Shaman to Troll or not (as well as other characters of mine)
Dark Iron death knight is the way to go
I played a pally one once I had unlocked it but I got fed up with it , never was into dwarfs
Dark iron shaman’s totens are so cool, leveling mine now, it’s a really nice class for them. But, since you already have a shaman i’d go fire mage.
I have a set of Alliance Alts and a Set of Horde ones, The Shaman one I was thinking of going Draenei.

No bad choice really, but their racials do lend themselves well to a melee character.
the dwarf hunter theme works better for regular dwarves as they were a staple unit in wc3.
I think a rogue would be a real good choice, with pally or monk tied for second, if you are into hybrid classes as suggested by your shaman.
Any caster class thematically and lore-wise works as well, but in your case a rogue would be my primary suggestion.
Guess for giggles and teehees I ought to post what my Alliance list looks like.
Human paladin
Human Mage/Warlock (haven’t decided)
Dwarf Warrior
Gnome Mage/warlock (haven’t decided)
Night Elf Druid
Night Elf Rogue (Subject to change)
Worgen Hunter (Subject to change)
Draenei Priest
Draenei Shaman
Pandaren Monk
Human Death Knight
NIght Elf Demon Hunter
Lightforged Draenei Paladin
Void Elf Warlock (Subject to change)
Decided to put question marks for those I haven’t settled on. Although this whole list besides the Human Paladin up top is bound to change.
I sort of like having a representative of race/class stuff.
Warrior. If you have a hunter alt and can buy the Huntmaster’s Halberd, it makes for a perfect complementary two hander with the heritage armor set. It’s gorgeous.
Would definitely recommend one of the plate-wearing classes. The transmogs are too strong!

the one that levels the fastest.like monk for the exp buff with full heirloom gear and the exp nerf you will be 120 in no time or hunter they are easy mode.
I think a warrior/pally would be cool. I have both as humans and don’t make duplicate classes soo…I’m making mine a shaman. Def don’t change an orc sham to a troll…orc sham is too iconic.

Yea but Troll Voodoo Witch Doctor Theme. Plus I’m thinking of using the name I have my the Orc Shaman for Mag’har Shaman. and like that I opened another can of worms, stupid heritage armor.
I’m not a fan of Dwarves but I’m working on a Dark Iron Dwarf Paladin right now. I went with the darkest black color scheme and using a black transmog with flames. Very sinister looking for a Paladin.
I like the graphics of the Dark Iron Dwarf but I’m not really sold on Paladin yet. Still feels inferior to my druid.
Make the gnome mage and make your dark iron a warlock. You’d have three humans otherwise.

Well, since my people are playing Alliance right now, and I can’t be focused on my beloved goblin alt, I have settled for a dwarf and I love her.
When I get the dark irons, I’ll be making a warrior because it fits from an RP standpoint and because the reduced damage taken and self-cleanse seem like a good fit for prot work.

Dark iron shaman’s totens are so cool
I know!!! But I JUST hit 119 on my regular Bronzebeard Dwarf shaman, so I can’t start over. Sigh. And honestly, I like our totems the LEAST.
Well, we aren’t into you much either, buster!

The answer is paladin.
The answer is always paladin.

if you look at the abilities that the race has to offer it narrows it down
Forged in Flames which Reduces damage taken from Physical attacks by 1% should go well with a ranged class because when a person closes a gap you don’t have a lot of options
Fireblood (Instant, 2 min cooldown) - Removes all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleed effects and increases your primary stat by 100 for each effect removed. Lasts 8 sec. This could go well with classes that have to get there hands dirty in combat like melee or ranged.
[Mole Machine (Instant, 30 min cooldown) - While outdoors, summon a Mole Machine that tunnels through the earth. I personally think this is useless to a mage because when you start a allied race mage you automaticlly get teleport stormwind,From stormwind you can get to most places.
Mass production (Racial Passive) - Items crafted by Blacksmithing are created twice as quickly. This i think benefits classes that can use blacksmithing to there advantage so plate/mail classes
Dungeon Delver which increases movement speed by 4% while indoors should go well with a class that does not have a lot of mobility options
Hopefully that gives you an idea. I just went rogue
