What classic wow has that current wow doesn't

When trying to explain raid encounters, like Firelands timewalking, when people haven’t done that in years and or never have and or don’t take it serious until they see just how real some encounters can be, even in timewalking.

And other achieves, like MSV 10m full group ones. That’s all I really meant by it.

Is it because you don’t do anything other than easy content by chance?

You’re making the assertion people who wish to play Classic are primarily noobs. Everything about that is flawed, and you should look in the mirror before going off about who is a noob and who isn’t because of what version/playstyle/speed/lore of a game they prefer to play.

That’s terrible, sorry to hear.

People still do. We had an in-game ceremony a few months ago.

The content is everywhere and BFA isn’t a failure… well, it is for you and that’s entirely subjective. Have you ever played BfA? Oh, and also go read up on your lot. Sylvanas never beat Arthas the Lich King, she beat Bolvar the Lich King.

I already lived through vanilla, I don’t want to do classic.

Not sure what your definition of content is here but I consider content as having stuff to do and in that regards I’ve found plenty of content in BFA.

Lore is one tiny aspect of the idea of content in the game.

For one, AB and WSG reputation is a hell of a lot easier to obtain in classic. Since you can turn in marks for a sizable chunk of rep.

What are you even talking about? Hiru posts WoW content daily on youtube and Krucial stopped doing machinimas to focus on school. This is an error ridden torrent of word salad.

What I like about Classic is the hunter class and its pet management. I like all that interesting stuff like teaching pets new skills, pet food, loyalty, happiness and all that. I also like the ammo/arrows thing for hunters but if it was ever (ever) put in retail WoW, I would prefer it to have more units/stack and more stacks lol… So more slots in arrow/ammo pouches.

I play a dwarf female hunter btw with a gun.

Class quests, professions that matter.

What if you need help on retail and looking for a group is too slow?

That happened to me once, with the cave full of crabs in Nazjatar, and i was a fire mage and i was trying like hell to get rid of the crabs but couldn’t do it. And asked somebody to help me cause i was ready to hit things. I don’t see this being any different if it’s on Classic.

…Then it’s not a single-player game anymore if you can see other players in the game.

So… Elves…

If you want to play a game where you will never run into me - Classic has that for you.

well yea, because the content has already been done before and people know how to do it now.

That wasn’t Arthas. Everyone is different so stop pushing your opinion on us and go back to not knowing anything about the game. Cause apparently you didn’t know Arthas died and your beloved classic regent Bolvar was Lich King. Don’t quote the scriptures witch, I was there when they were written!

I do find that to be 100% inaccurate. Server communities are a thing. If you have a bad reputation on your server you’re out of luck. I’m pretty sure that’s lacking in the current iteration.

First of all classic is MUCH easier than retail. It just wastes your time more unapologetically.

Classic was a coherent levelling experience. A clear endgame progression with notable and famed BIS items to chase. That’s it…that’s what people loved. Classic is simple straight forward and rewarding.

Retail is a hot mess of 8 xpac systems layered on top each making the priors xpacs stuff and areas irrelevent with no clear goals other than achievements…which are usually time gated behind WQ grind. Endgame instancea are over complicated, classes are a mess and over complicated.

Simply put retail is deaigned for esport and twitch streams classic was designed for your average Joe of medium gamer skill.
