The design decisions around mele hunter for this phase are truly baffling.
Most of the fights seem to heavily feature cleave, or need target switching.
The mele hunter set is pure single target bonuses, and we have zero baseline cleave.
The 2p requires the use of a ranged attack, which cant be used in mele, with the only options to get around this being to steal a dagger from rogues, or get a quest bow that requires a full clear and multiple not guaranteed drops. AND using it to put up serpent sting has a long CD making it a crap option for fights that require target switching.
So in this phase ranged hunters get a set that buffs cleave and a new mele weapon that significantly buff their damage, that is a simple normal boss drop, from an easy boss in the middle of the raid.
Mele hunter gets zero cleave, a quest bow (that ranged hunters also want) that requires multiple boss drops and a full clear, that is required to make use of our 2p set, AND that heavily punishes target switching.
