I disagree I don’t think they should balance around 2s at all, also rogue disc priest been a thing since forever and always rogues were getting dispelled and going for ree so its nothing new
What cooldowns and who will die in a stun? A training that doesn’t press anything? Sure any class can kill a training dummies that doesnt press defensives but name a spec that sub csn 100-0 in a stun given the other person will use something

There’s a difference between balancing pvp around 2s, and balancing 2s. You can take steps to increase viability in 2s without being detrimental or altering to 3s.
As it stands, they have damage modifiers for specific abilities in pvp. In the early expansions Blizzard said they would never do such a thing because it wasn’t true balancing; they saw it as a half measure and they were better than that. Now, they do it without hesitation as it’s simpler. They could very easily introduce separate modifiers in the 2s bracket to tone down things like ww/arms.
I mean. You think that because you’ve never played Sv Hunter. The damage is ok, and overtime given uptime it probably does outdps sub, but the problem is that Sv hunter having that kind of uptime past 2k is pretty much a pipedream.
Your pet dies if anyone looks at it, then the spec stops functioning. It dies passively to any cleave or pressure comp, which is a ton of the current meta, and if you aren’t careful it will die just to saccing a fire mage go. Then you just get trained as a spec probably squishier then rogue, thus can never resummon it until you pop turtle, which you likely get one of the entire game.

Yes use your brain please its either that the sub rogue got all their cooldowns or the warrior was dumb enough to not press anything again any spec can 1shot in stun if the other person doesn’t press anything Infact they will do it faster no doubt it in my mind a warrior will 100-0 you on storm bolt if you dont press something a mage will 1shot with combustion if you dont press hell even lock with darksoul or ele with stormkeeper but the difference is that sub rogue needs shadowblades dance symbols coldblood and crit legendary and to be full geared to even attempt this and if the other person had a brain cell they will stop him

The spec has 0 peels unless fou decide to shadow duel defensively to peel, all the stuns are only good for offesnive pressure other wise stunning defensively is basically setting yourself 30 second behind.
Damage in dance is 5/10 and outside is 2/10
Survivability is not that good outside cloak, most melees have spell damage aka condemn or holy damage and so on so evasion doesn’t really do that much I died in evasion countless times
Comps only rmp at any decent rating because again mage does everything while i stun couple people
Fun subjective but I find it very hard for a non die hard rogue fan to enjoy the current play style of being a cheapshot bot
