I’d play a cloth class because of mog reasons, but a mecha-rogue sounds nice too.
I went with priest and it looks pretty good 90% of the time.
The only downside is a wasted racial. All Mechagnomes can lockpick, so a Rogue’s lockpicking is redundant.
Druid.
Nah, jokes aside, hunters are fun. You get guns and mechanical pets.
I found the heritage armour to be the best on my Mechagnome.
He’s a hunter, so he lucked out a bit as I could transmog his weapon into the laser rifle from the Mechagon dungeon.
Or, if you go a sword wielding class, the chainsaw/ripper sword would be cool aswell. My Gnome prot warrior uses that with the heritage armour and it fits well with the gear.
I have a Mechagnome MM hunter with a rifle. Seems to work pretty well.
Robes. So make a caster.
I went with mage on my Mechagnome.
I don’t wear robes on him, though. I also am not likely to really change his mog though, since it’s limited and I like to be matchy-matchy. Once I find a good enough mog for an alt I rarely swap.
If I had to do another Mechagnome, I’d probably opt for warrior.
I went with Monk
This is my mecha-hunter.
(Arandi btw)
Linkie:
Blizzard should just make a generic metalic skirt based on the three metal colors changeable in the barbershop.
I’m waiting for the day they open Druid to all races so I can make a Mechagnome Druid. Go all Beast Wars: Transformers.
But of the currently available classes… I’d go with Hunter, Rogue, or Warlock.
Avoid Warrior unless you want to find an addon that mutes the sound he makes when he charges which I did.
I went with warlock. Plus the name is fitting on account everyone wants the warlocks cookies.
