What class has the most utility/support?

Druid or shaman. Anyone saying otherwise is playing a different game.

Depends on if you want the utility in dungeons or raids.

In dungeons, there’s no competing with a balance druid. Two types of CC (3 if you count mass roots), treants, vortex, typhoon, stun, AOE silence, soothe, stealth, battle res, normal res, off-heals, innervate, stameding roar.

It’s ridiculous. Literal swiss army knife.

Resto shaman is up there too in dungeons. Earth ele, AOE stun, earthgrab totem, slow totem, 12sec CD interrupt, bloodlust, mana tide totem, reincarnation.

For raids, lust and battle res have far less value, since there will be plenty of them. Warlocks probably aren’t far off top to be honest, if not the top. You NEED at least one warlock, to not make life a misery. The same can’t be said of any other class except maybe a demon hunter or mage for the spell damage buffs. There are other important raid buffs, but they can be done without compared to those. In all but the most bleeding edge content anyway.

In general, utility feels a lot less impactful in raids, and a lot of it simply doesn’t work. I definitely wouldn’t pick a class based on it. You can’t hard carry with utility like you can in m+.

I main boomie and have a rogue. I get so confused when people suggest rogue for utility. I just dont see it.

I’d say Druid and Shaman.

Group stealth. Can be very useful in M+.

Oh wow. Too bad we cant buy potions to allow us to stealth. wait…

Lol. Just messing around. But seriously though. Not that big of a deal

Druid rogue warrior

Rogues stealth lasts longer.

I mean it isn’t a huge deal, as you said, you just said you didn’t get people commenting on rogue utility and that is what that utility is. Druid has more, to be sure, but if that utility is already covered elsewhere and you want a stealth… well there ya go

Ohhh I gotcha now. Ty

Can they all do it at once?

On the topic of utility, and I’ll share my ignorance if this is either 1) absurd or 2) duh, well known, but what classes can disarm and does that provide a preemptive benefit to things like Humanoid NPCs that bladstorm (Hakkar wing DOS), or disarming ranged hunters (Forsworn “Hurlers” in SoA)?

I’ve not seen this done before so I’m willing to bet it’s not a “thing”.

As far as I know disarms are PvP talents.

Druids and rogue in my opinion.

Dps warriors probably have the least for PvE. PvP is a completely different story.

Basically this.

This is true.
Grapple Weapon, Disarm, Faerie Swarm, and Dismantle are all PvP talents now.

Psychic Horror had it’s disarm removed so that leaves disarm with no PvE versions (for some reason?)

priest silence cd = 45 seconds
shaman wind shear cd = 12 seconds

they’re not even in the same ballpark

I love wind shear as Ele Shaman, I can build my groups without need of any mdps. :joy:

Even the DK version, Mind Freeze, lacks the range (15yd vs Wind Shear’s 30yd), and it’s a few second longer CD (15 vs 12)

My wife runs as RSham and I’m Prot Paladin, and together most things get interrupted - it’s very nice having that utility

it’s honestly one of my favorite things about pugging as resto. my main is shadow so it’s just night and day having an interrupt i can actually rely on.

oh yeah, they’re mostly not as bad as priest’s. that one is admittedly kind of an outlier!

I forgot DKs also had a ranged interrupt.
It’s settled then: among a plethora of melee interrupts a (mostly ranged) class has the best one.

So you’d describe wind shear as a unique spell and not just a fancier version of the interrupt used by most classes?
