Monk. Amazing how they took such an amazing idea and made a class as dull as watching paint dry.
Warlock. Ive tried multiple times. Spec doesn’t matter. I just can’t enjoy lock.
I’ve never rolled a priest, just never been into the idea and I’m more interested in other healers.
I have a rogue alt and he feels extremely squishy. It’s probably a skill issue but there were some elites I could easily solo on other classes that would wreck my rogue. I haven’t really touched him since DF though.
It’s more about certain mechanics than any specific class.
Using defensive utility for dps (for example, stealth for feral druids and rogues). I want to save my defense and utility abilities (such as vanish) for utility, not as part of my rotation.
Using movement abilities to maximize dps. The momentum build for DHs is a prime example. I want to use Fel Rush to charge the next mob, not to deal more damage. I would probably enjoy my DH if I didn’t have to use movement abilities for dps.
Honestly, spec or class, either or is fine.
Huh? Do we know the same mages
I’m gonna say it… I don’t enjoy hunter. I just find the gameplay boring. I only play it because the only classes that fit my character’s specific class fantasy are hunter and druid, but I can’t be a blood elf or void elf druid. So… hunter it is, I guess. Womp womp.
Hopefully the MM rework in 11.1 strikes my fancy. I prefer the aesthetics of MM over BM, but I had to give up MM because it felt so slow. Maybe it’ll be interesting enough to get me to switch back in 11.1!
Mages or Rogues, whenever I PvP on one I feel like I need to shower after.
Rogues and Warriors.
Rogues just do nothing for me and I’m also not a fan of the wack-a-mole play style of Warrior.
Evoker also gets an honourable mention. I think it’s the odd range of theirs.
I think it was Cata when bear and cat were still the same spec people used to joke it was like playing piano. I know in pvp, I would build up with a dps rotation, set the bleeds, then pop into bear to do a tank rotation. Sometimes, you’d have to repeat if the bleeds didn’t take them out. It was crazy.
For some reason I have just never bothered with warriors. I’ve started a couple and it goes nowhere. I do prefer ranged but I’ve had pally, rogue, DK and DH playing at end game at some point.
Druid. It feels so clunky.
I tried twice. They’re just so boring.
I would 100% play priest if they allowed their dps spec use light spells instead of shadow.
Rogue. I am terrible with it. In groups it isn’t too bad, but solo I get squashed more times than not.
It really depends on the spec for me. Some classes are better as some specs than others. For example, Holy Priest is by far my favorite spec to play of all, but I’d play virtually any class in the game before I ever touch Shadow Priest. And actually SPriest used to not be so bad but the devs one day decided that it was too “boring” so they added a bunch of unnecessary garbage to it to make it “interesting” and instead they just made it needlessly complex and annoying.
Monks, I did not enjoy trying to level one however I love watching them fight I love their animations it just looks fun, but it wasn’t when I tried it out.
Just rogues
Rogue. I’ve tried numerous times and I just hate it. My highest level rouge is 62 ands I’ll likely never play him again.
