What class could you never main?

DH. Although I’m using one now as my gathering grunt and I shouldn’t have. Sure, he’s fun to play but every time I log in with him I see Blizzard giving me the finger and chuckling. Cause I have a Demo Locke and I felt eviscerated. Yeah, the same time I logged in and somehow forgot all my SV skills that I had learned through 3+ expansions, “POOF” gone.
DH is just a constant reminder of that terrible time.

Any non Paladin class

Demon Hunters because spamming 2 buttons while waiting for the other 2 to be off cd is extremely mind numbing.

If they begin with War, I don’t like em

Give a try, you will get suprised how fun it is.

I dont like the shaman play style. Also monks! it is silly having 2 weapons in your back and never make a use for them and also the rotation is lame

I’m just not interested in Demon Hunters at all and still haven’t leveled one up despite playing every other class. I have had one sitting in the DH starter zone on both Horde and Alliance for years; I keep telling myself I’ll get to them “someday.”

Edgy, brooding anti-heroes are annoying, not cool, to me more often than not, so I’m not interested in the class fantasy associated with DHs. (Also, it seems like the rudest players that I encounter out in the open world are usually DHs.)

Priest (I can’t handle how slow they are)

Havoc DH (no idea how people survive with this spec. People keep telling me “just use metamorphosis” but outside of that I still constantly die. I just don’t get it but also don’t enjoy it enough to be motivated to learn it. Prefer vengeance)

BM hunter - it’s REALLY fun for a short while and then I just find it boring/too easy in a way

Probably also rogue. I LOVE the class fantasy and I want to be a good rogue really bad but I’m just not. Props to everyone who is good at playing rogue.

At least with mage I feel like the leveling experience really isn’t a good representation of how they play at endgame because of how important the talents you get at a later level are for them.

I noticed that again recently as I leveled up a mage on alliance as an alter ego of my horde mage.

I’ll say Warlock and Paladin.

Paladin is the first class I tried, and my second-most-played class, but for a melee character, I’ve always just liked Warrior a little bit more. I’ve usually played full-Holy Paladin as healer alt, but I tend to go back to Warrior eventually. Sometimes as a Paladin I feel like too much of a Boy Scout, and there’s always something I miss about playing Warrior.

Warlock I have played some, and I actually really did enjoy it, but I don’t think I’d be able to get into it enough to play it as an everyday main. I think it’s sort of the same reason as the Paladin, just in the opposite direction.

Monks have always seemed to me a little contrived in this game, but the gameplay looks pretty fun.

Monk…I’ve seen alot of good monks out there, but personally 3 closes friends main a monk (1 BrM, 1 MW, and 1 WW) and I’ve had some bad runs with them. Monks slap though, all the way to the graveyard…

Probably monk. The animations just drive me crazy.

Warrior. Is perfectly fine gameplay, but with so many melee classes, is hard to not pick one with more visual flair.

Anything melee. I have a DK but she is not my “main”

I do not believe the whole main/alt way of thinking. What I am currently playing is my “main” until I log and I play a different character. I play all my characters equally.

I’m not sure there is a class I just couldn’t ever main. Maybe Demon Hunter? It’s the only one I never have, and my play time on them never lasts for super long; I’m actually not sure why.

There are things I like and dislike about every class in the game, so if my guild ever needed whatever, I’d probably have no problem going main on whatever it is.

It’s a tough call between shamans and locks for me. Mad respect for people that can play those classes though.

Yeah. I’ve noticed that with some of the only DPS classes, but none as much as mages. It would be nice if they balanced the game so that pure DPS classes could choose a spec that they liked and still be competitive.

to be fare they are balances where they are all able to do any content, the community on the other hand will only ever acknowledge the one at the top, even if its a .000001% difference, you will still get kicked for playing anything but the “best”

Which is honestly bull. Community standards in this game have always been absurd. If someone is playing their preferred spec, doing damage, and not dying to mechanics, 9/10 the boss goes down. Maybe not in the fastest time possible, but the boss does…which is the point.

agreed, everyone thinks that their guild is going to be method/limit, they try to put on airs about how dedicated they are to a video game like any of it matters. Yeah if i was getting a sweet sponsorship from red bull and free computers and trips around the world to play WoW i would definitely min max to keep that, but I’m not treating this game like a job when I’m not getting payed.
I will min max to an extent, bis covenant gems/enchants/flask food pots, but I’m playing what i want…
or this game can shove it.

my point being is too many rely solely on what world first races do to cheese the first win, thinking that is the only way to victory…
while I’ve learned just having fun with a team you mesh with, all wile everyone is being held accountable for them selves, and being willing to improve/take criticism will never fail you.

That’s the most important part for me.

The three mostly “mundane” classes, Warrior, Hunter, and Rogue, aren’t appealing to me.
