I’m a level 60 prot Paladin. I’m gonna main prot Paladin in BC. My question is: how can I make gold until then? Do people still run dungeons 55-60 tier? I just want to be ready for the launch. I’m just not familiar with the gearing path in vanilla I suppose. Any help is appreciated

Paladins can do boosts easily
Yup, like they said, boosting. As a protection paladin you will be boosting a lot in Classic TBC if you care do it. You might as well start getting your name out there.
Don’t I need some decent gear to start boosting, I mean armory this toon
I would either level a mage alt to farm gold via boosting, or just do a lot of DM E and gdkp. But as a prot paladin getting into a decent gdkp would be tough.
In tbc paladins are amazing aoe farmers.
Farm gold.
Prep any profession changes you’re going to make.
Farm thunderfury and as much high level raid gear as you can, even if you have to do it as holy.
Not sure what the best Gold Per Hour is for a prot Paladin precisely, but if you have herbalism, then DM: E lasher runs can be pretty decent.
You can also tank instances, and sometimes people will be willing to pay.
