Text that says my name while voice acting says “hero” or “champion”

Silly Flight Paths.

When I take a flight from one location to another, but don’t have a connecting flight path, instead of taking me in a straight line, I then have to circle the entire perimeter of the continent just go get over a hill.

Well… They can’t place your name into voice acting, so… You get “hero” and “champion”.

It’s better than “Hey you”, or “this guy over here”.

Just call me the same phrase in both voice acting and text. If you can’t voice act it than don’t put it in the text.

And I’d prefer “adventurer” to “hero”, because calling someone hero is ridiculous

I’ve been a druid for how many expansions now??? and at the launch of each and every new one somehow… for some unfathomable reason I get dementia and forget how to fly… Even though I’m a druid and it is totally part of my lore and all… but yet Malfurion doesn’t have to grind out pathfinder… :rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Your desire is to eliminate fun from flight by replacing player-directed flight with an unpleasant activity that is of no benefit. I assure you that everyone who quit over the way flight has been handled since wod would have quit over this, and more.

Previous content should be presented as the opportunity to relive and take part in history. They would need to make some modifications for this to work, but it makes more sense commercially than to just remove everything that can’t be retconned.

Motorcycle mounts. Would love to have a switch that lets me mask out those players using them.

But then, I’d like to have the recent slew of BUGS fixed, too, but that’ll take time away from WoW Barbie crap like mounts and pets.

Also immersion breaking is horde is now allied with one of the first offenders against azerothvfor azerite abuse. And horde still keeps champions status.

How does one be BFF with Ashvane and still be a champion of the planet? After ofc…you burn a world tree too. And one of your other crews in the horde leaves green toxic goop all over the place. Horde is not screaming eco friendly at this point. Really they aren’t.

When skelly boy with bow can defeat empowered god. Well. Wow’s never had the best lore, but oh boy has this expansion just made it hard to get any immersion.

Immersion doesn’t really matter all that much to me, it’s not like I care if the WoW universe is real or not.

As long as I can beat up other players and NPCs, I’m pretty happy.

I just suddenly started thinking… about the saurfang and malfurion encounter.

WHY didn’t Malfurion just heal himself?? I know he was about to die (wait… why didn’t he die? Wouldn’t an axe in the brain kill anyone instantly? but wait malfurion is POWERFUL and so is Saurfang) but he couldn’t cast a quick swiftmend?? come on now.

-I was also soloing dragon soul the other day and you know how on the last fight (madness of deathwing) you hop between platforms? Well… at some point deathwing falls forward, if you were under him, wouldn’t you die instantly?

-OOO another Dragon Soul thing, in the cinematic after you kill deathwing’s back plates, thrall blasts Deathwing in the chest with the Dragon Soul, and he falls into the Maelstrom. How did we survive all that, how did we hold on to his back lmao or land on a piece of land perfectly?

…Being like 15 feet away from an enemy in clear view and unable to range attack or charge them because a random pebble or blade of grass is blocking LOS, even though THEY ARE SHOOTING AT ME…:rage:

…Being all alone in an empty field with no enemy in sight; okay let’s mount up and… “You are in combat”…:rage:

That undead limbs are not attacked at the joints and have spikes sticking out of their spine.

My suggestion in and of itself essentially wouldn’t have changed flight during WotLK or MoP. But instead of buying the ability (which you already bought during TBC) to fly in that expac you’d be buying the the maps, knowledge, or talisman (whatever) that made flying safe.

I don’t like flying mounts with spell effects that trail behind them. They tend to float right in the middle of the screen and I can’t see the game as well.
