What are your thoughts on the Vulpera?

Which aren’t anthropomorphic; isn’t that a defining characteristic of a furry?

I unlocked them as a “might as well get all the Allied Races” move, ended up really liking them.

My go-to Recalibrator alter-ego.

This is preferable to being forced to wear a bald cap. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:

Soon you will be the cube.

They’re my favorite race that l’ll never get to play due to them being Horde.

I won’t play them for the same reason I don’t play gnomes.

They’re too small.

It’s also the inverse as to why I won’t play tauren.

They’re too big.

I would’ve preferred Gnolls, but one can dream.

That is no different from any other race doing content from before their introduction though. Dracthyr doing anything before Dragonflight, Pandaren doing anything before Mists, any AR except Dark Irons (who went back to Iron Forge with Moira awhile back, so the player could be said to be one of those who did) doing any pre-Legion (legion prelaunch ones) or pre-BFA (everything else except Dark Iron) content.

A Vulpera being told about them beating the Legion is no more odd than a Zandalari, Mechagnome or other non-Legion prelaunch AR. Or any older race being told they did stuff from expansions prior to their launch.

The only thoughts about the Vulpera I have is how soon can we make them go extinct and how much gold can I make selling their pelts.

Vulpera are adorable in a bitey kind of way.

I’d race change to one if they could be alliance.

Conspiracy theory: they were made horde only by Blizz in an attempt to repopulate horde numbers on Moon Guard.

Their culture aesthetic is my favorite of all the races in game.

Vulpera are pretty cool. I’ve wanted to make one several times… but I can’t stand most of the Horde aesthetic.

They need a raccoon variant.

In actual response to the OP though, in short, they are great, I love them.

Anywhere outside rested zone & hearth spot is wonderful for many different things, hunting certain rares? place a camp near spawn, farming raids? place a camp by the entrance, questing and need to go to town? place a camp, hearth and do what you need then return to where you were. Dragonflight specific examples, still doing the soup, or the new dragon whelpling thing? Place camp there so you can go back when its time without having to fly there.

Very unlikely that there won’t be multiple times where it’ll come in helpful at some point or another, and 28 slot backpack if also having an authenticator is nice.

Nose for trouble is largely underestimated, 5% of max health for first hit of every mob simply negated adds up quite a bit, and usually means the first hit of anything short of a boss or especially hard hitting elite is simply negated. That alone also makes getting dismounted happen a great deal less (since mobs run by usually get just one hit in that is the dismounter, that gets absorbed)

But racials aside, the whole smart & clever, scavenger and survivalist vibe calls to me. The whole ‘hah, this thing 3x+ the size their size is getting brought down by a little fox’ makes me laugh, that they can be cute also is a side bonus.

Vulpera are cool, can we have more customization with the fur colors, ears, etc? Please?

I showed a friend the sleeping animation… she immediately made one lol.

I enjoy mine as they are the right height for enjoyable play.
