For me, it’s the following:
- Seraphim
- Execution Sentence
- Consecration
- Blessing of Season
- Consecration
- Holy Light
- Divine Steed
Seraphim is absolutely garbage. It’s so unbelievably boring and woefully uninteresting without any meaningful interaction. A stupid maintenance buff that I oh so wish Blizzard would just delete, I can’t stand the fact that this dumb ability still exists.
I prefer rhythmic and consistent damage, I really did enjoy earlier Ret Paladin design. And Execution Sentence is the disgusting antithesis of that where you cram in as many cooldown and spells as you can into it.
Consecration… yea.

Consecration- breaks cc, negligible damage, people walk out of it, etc
Holy light- lmfao 2.5 second cast has no place in pvp
Seraphim- would be fine without the holy power cost
Divine toll, blessings- shadowlands garbage. Only one i liked was vanquishers because nice dam, no mana cost, free holy power from ranged, increased awakening procs from free lod, short cd, big hammer

For me, its not necessarily a spell, more a mechanic on paladin as a whole and its holy power. Its a boring and clunky mechanic that just feels more restrictive then anything else. Feels like rogue combo points, but much worse, if I wanted to deal with combo points, I’d just play rogue. I absolutely despise holy power with a burning passion and would instantly main my pally again if it was removed and made a cooldown/mana based class again, but that’s just me.

as if every thread doesnt turn into this thread op
consecration: breaks cc, positional, needs a million talents to make it “good” and its still filler, adds nothing to our gcd heavy spec
exo: horrible reintroduction to pander nostalgic players when wotlk classic is live, does negliable damage, button bloat in a gcd heavy spec
CS: filler but some reason has alot of thigns attached to it in a vein attempt to make it stronger. keep it filler put its strength proc and DS proc chance on other things
Seraphim - HP cost, short duration, high cd. Meh buff exclusively used with burst cooldowns.
Consecration- Outdated static damage AoE.
Divine Steed - Crippling mobility tool on the GCD. Forces use of a glyph to play the game (at least 4 races can’t use doorways with base animation). Provides too much speed over too short duration with too long cd. The immense speed also severely hampers the ability for the class to be given other mobility tools or for the ability itself to be balanced.
Divine Toll (Ret specifically) - Yay the ability to do a base short cd class ability but on a much larger cooldown and occasionally AoE, how exciting.
For Ret Judgement is just lame, for Holy the interaction between enemy/friendly targeting is awkward, and the only interesting one is Prot due to the cool animation + silence + bounce.
Blessing of Sacrifice/SoV - Solely for being utility that’s degenerate playstyle has them interact as damage cooldowns.
Light of Dawn - Dunno how it is now, just somewhat biased against it historically being a garbage attempt at an AoE healing spell with typically terrible throughput and even worse targetting.
Let’s see. As I’ve been playing since coming back to Dragonflight.

Seraphim: as a Ret pally I have tried to build any talent build without it and everything falls short by a minimum of 5-6k dps without it. It feels necessary and I hate that it is a “you have to remember to keep this up” or your DPS suffers overall.
-
Execution Sentence, now it does do good damage and I could understand how people like it, I just hate when I spec into it I feel like I have an exact 8 second window to do my dps in and then the rest of the time I’m just waiting to do that 8 seconds all over again.

templar verdict and exorcisms sounds, not the talents themselves. Something about how they sound just bothers me so much, they are ok as talents just the sound bothers me.

Divine steed being the focus of our “movement.” Now, I enjoy it, however it doesnt break any of the movement debuffs nor the snares. It is really good in PVE boss fights that push back or knock back. In PVP It feels so much worse, however for a positive in PVP blessing of freedom with the 30% speed increase feels so smooth and amazing and actually feels better than Divine steed.

Seraphim. I hate it so much I’m including it twice.

Just Holy Power in general.
As Holy I feel I spend half my time DPSing.

At this point Consecration has almost entirely taken the cake. It’s not like I don’t enjoy the idea of it. I really like the thought of there being this area where you’re stronger for standing in, but that idea doesn’t go anywhere. It was fun as a stealth breaker in PvP, but then the range got nerfed to the point where rogues and druids don’t even think about it anymore. And now it’s taken up so much of our kit that it honestly feels like it exists in its own rotation that keeps derailing our core rotation. I really wish we could get rid of it, or had a talent that replaced it.
I should also say I hate that Bubble is on GCD with everything else

Did you guys seen the new response from blizz? Ret aura rework and removing seraphim
I actually agree with a lot of these.
- Execution Sentence - just don’t like long cooldown DPS abilities.
- Seraphim - don’t like extra stacking dps cooldowns, especially ones that require resource
- Divine Steed - don’t like long cooldown mobility spells, much prefer either passive speed increase or short speed bumps
- Blessing of Seasons - the rotating cooldown design seems bizarre to me
- Current ret aura - finishing for a teammates death feels bad, like betting against your home team
- Light of Dawn - cone heal is just awkward in melee
