What are your mains going to be in classic?

Since the classes seem to be higher maintenance, I’m unsure. Considering I want to try a PVP server I might go Rogue to try and stay safe, but I love my warlock. Although I imagine Vanilla’s version of these classes are much more different and I may dislike them.

I’m leaning pretty heavily toward a Human Mage, as I never got too far with it last time. But, I’ll eventually level a N.Elf Druid as an alt or whatever. Druid was my main (still have him) from when I started right as BC was releasing (I ended up buying the base game, and then buying BC 2 weeks later).

Likely I’ll do this guy again. Level shadow, then do disc/holy for raids (and beat the raid leader’s warlock girlfriend’s dps by spamming smite between heals).

Alliance - Dwarf Priest, Gnome Mage, Human Paladin
Horde - Tauren Shaman, Tauren Warrior, Troll Hunter
I think that’s the order that I level them, prefer healing so I plan to main a healer on the side that I find new friends to play with.

main- male troll hunter. lw/skin
off main- night elf (female) hunter. which is a remake of my vanilla character. same professions. silly i know but it will help with gold making too.
others- probably male night elf druid, with tailoring. for bags (and gold).
another horde race/class combo but i havent decided yet. will most likely be herb/alch.

wait. gonna need another tailor for horde side too…heh, ill get around to it.

Probably rogue. With a warrior and lock alt.

If I play Classic I’ll make only three toons, Mage, Warlock, and Druid. Anymore will be too time consuming.

Dwarf/Troll Priest, Human/Tauren Warrior, Human Paladin.

Most useful necro ever.

Since my plans changed and I cant no life it anymore. Ill just casually level a mage and farm gold to occasionally buy gear from guilds lol

Blame the Forum layout, this op was on the front page when i posted.

Mage, will use tailoring to make wands with enchanting, then unlearn tailoring and learn skinning.

Keep those for DireMaul farming.

I’m going to play a troll mage. great pve, great pvp, great against melee, and that barrens. can’t wait.

male orc warrior
female undead rogue
some kind of horde warlock.

if i get to alliance then:

male ne hunter
male dwarf warrior

Probably a Dwarven Hunter. Never played a hunter past 12. I want to focus on a single character and the pet issue tenuous but rewarding. The other would be Dwarven Rogue which I never got past a couple levels. Although I could go Dwarven Shadow Priest again or Dwarven Holy Paladin again. No desire for warrior.

Protection Warrior for PvE
Elemental Shaman for PvP
Frost Mage for Farming

That’s literally all I need.

NE Druid tank/OT. Took me a long time to appreciate tanking, but now it’s my favorite aapect of the game. I love the versatility of druids with tanking, moderate dps, and healing. Powershifting will be fun too.

I also don’t want to compete with the crazy number of warriors for plate gear.

I played rogue/hunter in Vanilla and couldn’t stand the rogue leveling. Being extremely slow in stealth was the worst. Sprint every 5 mins felt like it made no difference when traveling either. Mobility is king is vanilla.

I will force myself to level a 60 undead warrior

Undead warlock is my spirit animal, only went human lock in vanilla because all my friends in high school were alliance :frowning:

Interesting. Can I ask what the actual build is, and how you anticipate using this character? I am always interested to know this stuff, would really appreciate it!

It was such a struggle for me to choose. I can be an orc, or I can be a mage, but I can’t be an orc mage. I eventually settled on orc warlock for the easier access to a mount and the pets making it easier to level/farm.
